21.01.2022 Due to popular demand we have extended our oval working bee to 2 mornings!! That’s right both This Saturday AND Sunday from 730am to 1030am we will be taking care of Bindis on the oval. 21.01.2022 Boys were at Yaralla again this week to take on Yaralla red. Fawds lost the toss and we were sent into field. Adam Hull and young fun kori ramsden opened up th...e bowling and had Yaralla on the back foot early on with hull claiming the first wicket in the 5th and the second wicket also next ball to have Yaralla 2/9. Adam struck again in the 7th over to have Yaralla 3/10. Yaralla started to rebuild until a young frogsta Kyle Mongta got thrown the ball and struck in his first over to have Yaralla 4/44 off 17. The first 20 from the saints was brilliant Yaralla were 4/50 no wides. Yaralla started well after drinks with help from the saints dropping probably 10+catches in the second 20overs. Yaralla got to 80 before the janitor/loyd pope Leigh Irvin claimed his first wicket 5/80. Leathal claimed another wicket next over to have Yaralla 6/84. Froggy struck again next over 7/84. Yaralla started to build again before adz struck again 8/96. The tail wagged a bit before leathal snagged another. Yaralla finished the innings 9/123 Adam hull 4/24 off 8 Kori ramsden 0/10 off 8 Mathew Fawdry 0/22 off 8 Clem Boston 0/21 off 5 Froggy 2/26 off 6 Leathal Pope 3/14 off it was the saints turn to bat and it was the two Boston’s opening the bat........ it didn’t start to well for the younger Boston getting bowled by a corker to the saints in trouble 1/2. In strolled Brendan Huth to join bossman to get the saints back on track and they did just that before bossman snicked one behind saint now 2/39. Callum Dominguez joined huth to steady the ship before c was bowled with the score 3/57. Huth went soon after to have the saints in trouble 4/58. The two young blokes in marshy and kori had to get the saints on track before marshy was bowled score now 5/64 and in trouble. Adz joined kori to try get the saints to drinks with no further damage but adz snicked one to the keeper saints now 6/73 after 17overs. Hall joined kori to get the saints back on track to get to drinks which they did saint 6/97 at drinks still needing 26 with 3wickets in the shed. Kori and hall got the lads the W with 18overs to spare and 3 still in the shed. Good competitive game by both sides with a couple of beers after it. 15.01.2022 Saints def Reds today in the only game of GCI Super league. Saints 8/218 with Ky Hull notching his first Saints 50 and Jacob Mills also 1/2 tonning up with 51 and 53 respectively. Great innings by Zac Hill (26) opening and also new Dad Brendan Huth Reds all out for 172 with Ky taking out the Hull family cricketer of the week with 3/17 and Nev Judd 2/32 while Rosso Weaver, Grady Howard and Fraser Judd all taking a wicket plus 2 run outs. Special mention to Zac for taking a fantastic outfield catch and taking out Captain Huthy on the way. All up a great team effort to win by 46 runs

08.01.2022 Help needed!! Attention all BITS players and families. Due to the wet warm weather the Bindis have taken off and infested the oval and surrounds. Can we please have volunteers this Saturday from 10 in the morning to help to pull out and spray before they start to flower/ grow Prickles. Otherwise it will be a Jain in the foot!! Please bring weeding tooled, gloves and spray pack ( we have Bin-Die spray)
