22.01.2022 2020 AFL Grand Final Ticket Auction! BITS Saints AFC will over the next 24 hours be auctioning 2 x tickets to the AFL Grand Final on October 24th in Brisbane at the GABBA. Tickets are offered as a package of 2 and will not be separated.... Auction Starts now and the highest bid received by 12.00pm tomorrow the 15th of October will be the winner. Reserve is set at $250 per ticket Bids will only be accepted via PM (private message to the BITS Saints AFC) Updates on bidding progress will be made periodically during the auction period to advise on where the highest bid sits. Things to note; -Bidding is open to anyone able to attend the day, -Tickets are for the game entry only, any accommodation and travel required will be an additional expense to the successful bidder, -Should your bid be the highest at 12pm the 15th October you will have 1 hour to transfer the funds to the nominated account that will be sent to you via PM, -Should you fail to meet this requirement the tickets will go to the next highest bid received, -Names of individuals that will use the tickets must be provided at the time of payment transfer, -No paper tickets will be available to this years Grand Final meaning should you be the highest bidder you will need to provide 2 names to register against the tickets and only those individuals will be allowed access to the ground via the designated access gate, -Tickets are not transferrable to another name after they have been registered with the AFL, -Winner will be announced via Post on the Clubs News Feed once all money transfers have been completed. #bitssaintsafc

16.01.2022 So the Auction is now closed, thanks to everyone that participated in this BITS Saints first time event. The winning bid was $3005, the winning bidder has asked to remain anonymous and the BITS Saints AFC has agreed to respect her wishes. BITS Saints would like to thank AFLPA for generously donating there player allocation of tickets for this years Grand Final to the community football clubs of Queensland, their contribution to our club is greatly appreciated.... 12.01.2022 COACHING ANNOUCEMENT BITS Saints AFC would like to introduce Brad Surridge as our 2021 U13.5's coach. He has played footy for 15 years (250 games) at the senior level, some of which was at the mighty saints. Brad played for the BITS Saints premiership team in 2008. Here's a message from Brad. ... G'day kids and parents - I'm super excited about the challenge that we as a team face this year. I am a passionate Doggies supporter, love fishing and family time. I hope that together we can achieve big things this year as a team, I can’t wait to meet you all. We look forward to having Brad as part of the coaching team this year. Sub Juniors - Superstars, Under 9.5 & 11.5's Juniors - Under 13.5, 15.5 & 17.5's Seniors - Reserves and Ladies... As our club continues to grow in strength, we are always seeking the interest of coaching staff to take up the challenge of developing our players at all levels. The strength of our club evolves from support provided by families, current and former players through members who share a desire to influence our young men, women, boys and girls in the game of AFL.
