18.01.2022 What are nagabaori (). These are long haori kimono jackets. Nagabaori-design was popular from around the 1920's until the end of the second world war. Modern haori tend to be much shorter in length. Recently the nagabaori have become popular again, due to the vivid and bold designs. The pink jacket is an example of meisen silk, popular in the same period.

17.01.2022 I was lucky enough to visit The Quacking Frog Teapot Shed (18 Williams Street, Boyup Brook) They have the most fantastic selection of teapots, over 5000. I was totally blown away by the variety. Every theme, or colour you could think of was there. wow really worth a visit. I was so glad to have had the chance to see this collection. Also a nice selection of Japanese tea pots! :) THE QUACKING FROG TEAPOT SHED
