23.01.2022 Working with Erika and her team at the car’s dealership @beepzautosolutions was just amazing. They wanted us to create a fresh brand as they target young people and we definitely did it! Did you know they are the only car dealership in #Brisbane that offers financing to international students? Don’t hesitate to give them a call or send a private message!

23.01.2022 Elon Musk's willingness to publicly discuss even the failures of his insanely ambitious @spacex missions reminds us just how confident he is. Musk has accomplished feats previously thought impossible. If he'd listened to his advisers, he'd never have experienced the success he has. Here some things about him that will show you that WE ALL CAN MAKE IT : ... Musk was born and raised in South Africa, moved to Canada at age 17 and later to United States to study business and physics at @uofpenn. When he arrived to North America, used to live on a budget of $1 a day. At age 9, he read the entire encyclopaedia and taught himself coding and three years later built a pc game that sold in $500 to a computer magazine (you can still play it online). He ran a nightclub out of his house in college. He and his friends attracted 1000 patrons per night. See? It doesn’t matter where you’re coming from but where you’re going NOT EVEN THE SKY IS THE LIMIT. Right, Elon?

22.01.2022 The 5 Second Rule is a simple, one-size-fits-all solution for the one problem we all face - we hold ourselves back. The secret isn't knowing what to do - it's knowing how to make yourself do it. My client and dear friend @e_colmenares gave me this book from @melrobbins and I found a lot of value on it. Swipe to see some of my favourite quotes from it.

22.01.2022 Branding is more than creating a nice logo design. It’s about strategy. It’s about understanding your product, your company values, your competitors, your audience and your unique selling proposition. It’s to portray all of those messages in/with your logo, colour palette, fonts, imagery (graphics, photos), slogan and brand voice. So... no, Karen. Your 14 years old stepson can’t do that with @canva. And don’t take me wrong, we love Canva, but would you let a Doula to conduct your brain surgery? (and I’m not saying that you need it )

21.01.2022 Get things done. Success will follow.

15.01.2022 Forget about followers, the KPI that really matter is in your BANK ACCOUNT We have a client that has 60 followers BUT earns 4 times what he used to before working with us this is what we did: 1. Promoted his products in marketplaces like Amazon, E-bay and even the Australian Gumtree. (Yes! He is also on Facebook Marketplace and it performs pretty well but it’s not the only lead generator).... 2. We created business partnerships that are helping him and other businesses with a similar target. I’ll give you and example: Let’s say you have a yoga studio? Well, you can create a partnership with a dietician and a physiotherapist to run webinars or events together so the audience of your partners can know about you. That’s #Crossmarketing 3. Referral programs: Instead of focusing on reaching people that doesn’t know who you are, you can give specials to the contacts of that people that already use your services or that frequently buy your products and that is already talking about you. Turning your clients into influencers is a really smart move and it’s generally cheaper. So, repeat after me: SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT THE ONLY MARKETING CHANNEL, in fact it’s not always needed.

14.01.2022 It’s not what happens but how you react to it that matters... in life and yes, also in social media. I know, you want your brand to be PERFECT and that passion is good, but even huge brands as KFC, with huge teams behind, can make mistakes. What really matters is how you turn adversity into advertising (as they did, you can see it in yesterday’s post) or at least how you overcome it without ruining your brand reputation. Check this 5 basic tips to survive a social media mistake.

13.01.2022 @harvard_business_review surveyed over 180 senior managers and found that 70% think meetings are unproductive and inefficient Raise your hand if you agree! We all have been there... ... Frequent interruptions Technical difficulties Lack of preparation No ownership of action items Meetings runs over time I mean... Stop having meetings that could have been an email The average executive spends 23 hours per week in meetings while the employees spend around 6. tik tok, tik tok... there is much that needs to be done. We recommend to set maximum times: General update: 15 min. Project update: 20 min. Planning session: 60 min. Collaborative editing: 15 min. Presentation: 20 min + 10 min for Q&A. To make them matter: Set a meeting leader. Document what, why, who and how. Run an agenda in advance. Repeat after me: TIME IS GOLD.

11.01.2022 Paul Brand said Design is the silent ambassador of your brand and we totally agree. When someone ask us to build a web, we start looking at the foundations: What’s your brand story, personality and voice? Is your offer clear?... Is your current branding package able to communicate your message and attract your ideal client? Imagine this scenario: John has a jewellery e-commerce. His products are hand made by very talented designers around the globe. They work with gold, diamonds and expensive-certified materials, and the products ranges from $600 to $12000. But... their branding was made by their 16 years old in neighbour who used @canva (a tool we love, btw but it’s not ideal to create vectors and logos that can be used in many sizes). She is very talented, and John had only good intentions while hiring her and giving her the first paid job but... it just looks deficient if you compare it with their competitors and renowned brands. Can we work with that? A: No. Simple: That look and feel, that was made without considering the target audience, the psychology behind colours and lines, won’t get the trust of his audience and without trust he won’t get sales. Working with that would be making him lose money in a development that won’t be efficient. We would recommend to work in a new branding guide. We have a team of specialist that will definitely achieve the greatest results. But, Daniela, what if my branding is good? A: Then we would definitely work with it and even have personal communication with your previous designer (if required) to make sure she/he provide us with all the elements required. We do EVERYTHING to help you save time and achieve RESULTS.

11.01.2022 Team appreciation post : Meet Benjamin aka @buda. One of our super Web Developers and Designers. The day I met Ben he was sharing with a friend one decision he took. He wasn’t talking to me, but I opened my huge moth to prevent him from losing the opportunity of his life and argued with him about it Months later, he wrote me to say thanks for being that weird. I actually made him change his mind and it was the best decision ever. A new friendship was born. His wife... @gupi.dezavalia and I matched straight away. Soon, we would be working together, traveling together and giving coffee with salt to some clients together. Both, Gupi and Ben are my biz besties. More than professional partners, adventure partners. I love them and I wish everybody had people like them in their teams and life. Ben is the walking Google. He knows about everything digital, freak and geek stuff and his can remember URLs like nobody. Next level brilliant. He is extremely kind and generous and is always feeding everybody around. Buda sleeps like 4 hours a day and I don’t understand how he survives. He is passionate about music video production and recently finished his first rap video in Australia. I’m very proud of Ben. For many things, but over everything for being that humble and open minded. I don’t know if I would listen someone like me if I had his brains and yet he did *Just kidding. I’m smart too, I’m just good at faking I’m not. Would you like us to have a section with Buda’s recommendations of cool stuff online?

11.01.2022 Here is a hack to help you RAISE YOUR PRICES This works for both, entrepreneurs and stablished businesses. Ready? ... Here we go: Document and show your process!!! Yes. As simple as that. Sometimes people may underestimate the materials and skills required to get your work done. Some of the following photos or videos may apply to you: Show the materials you work with. Show your shop or the location where you work at. Show how long does it take to get your product finished. Bonus: Use storytelling to explain how long did it take you to build the skills that allows you to get it done. Our clients at @pampixtint windows tint are using that method. Their quotes explain what material they use and that it’s the best in the market. Give an approximate time in which the service will get done. And mention how long they have been in the market. On top of that we also took this behind the scenes photos they’re using in the website. See? Positioning your brand is something you can do in many places. NOT ONLY DIGITAL. If you have concerns on raising your prices and make your audience really value your product, get in touch and let’s change that.

10.01.2022 Branding is not only a logo and a colour palette Branding is the addition of all the elements that make people have a certain perception about yourself. How you communicate in social media: Is your language professional and academic or is it friendly and engaging? ... What kind of ideas you share and support: Do you get involved in political conversations? Do you promote movements (vegan/black lives matters/ flat earth... you name it)? Who you work with? (team/providers/influencers). What kind of value you add in each step of your customer journey. See? People will have a perception about yourself and your brand based on many small but relevant aspects, NOT just based on a nice logo. When talking branding at Biz Boosters Projects we start with a brand strategy that involves your Personality Audience Values Why. We define what makes YOU (personal brand or business) who you are and THEN we work in all the graphic elements and make the design enhance that narrative. Colour scheme Fonts Logo Photography Digital assets (Stationary, Social Media Post, Video Package...) Answer this question: What is more important for you when purchasing from a company? Their look and feel or your overall customer experience (service, delivery)?

08.01.2022 I frequently buy chocolate because it’s a pleasure to eat it , I also bought a gym membership, whey protein and some pills to lose weight because my weight is a pain to me See? People buy for two reasons: Pain or pleasure. If your product solves a problem, talking to your clients about their pain points and how your product or service can solve it is the way to go. But... ... What if your product DO NOT solve a real problem? If your product don’t solve a real problem but makes life funnier, prettier or comfier you should express that benefit and talk in a more positive way. Stop trying to find pain point where there is not. Those old sales methods don’t work anymore I had the pleasure to work for a few brands everybody loves: Dior, Gucci, Calvin Klein... and believe me, you can achieve incredible results without creating fake needs, just by showing how cool your product is and by creating a solid trustworthy brand. So please, please, be creative. You don’t need to start all your post with a question: Are you tired of (situation)? And then follow with your solution... Then out (product/service) can help you. You can do better. Stop thinking just about sales and start thinking about marketing. Doing sales you have to follow up on your cliente. Doing good marketing THEY will come to you.

06.01.2022 Up's they did it again! You may have noticed that Facebook is making more changes from October 2020. Those changes may have consequences in your Digital Marketing 1) Currently, unauthorized use of music, images and videos could result in an Ad or post being removed, but from October the temporary lock can be more severe as Facebook will be expressly responsible for the defence of copyright. The tolerance for these uses will be reduced and it can even lead to account clo...sure. 2) Checking claims against copywriting and licences will require more human resources. So Facebook's operating costs will increase and that differential ends up being transferred to the Ads that will be more expensive. 3) The competition space for other Social Networks will be reduced and - if the government does not dismember it before in an anti-monopoly action - the position of Facebook becomes stronger. Why? Simple, a start-up may not have the resources to monitor a large number of posts. This analysis is a summary/translation from a @mike.blaster’s post.

03.01.2022 KFC is turning adversity into advertising (again) After reopening its 900 restaurants in the #UK (at least drive-thrus and delivery) 163 complaints against them were lodged with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) . (A global pandemic) doesn’t feel doesn’t feel like the right time to be airing this (old) campaign, so we’ve decided to paused for now, teased a spokesperson according to @thedrummag. ... 5 months later and the campaign is sort of back. I mean... they made some changes by censoring their own slogan ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS SLOGANS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. And maybe that’s why it work: Radio 4, @guardian, @dailymail and most of the British media cover it. It’s a no-brainer to create work that will generate wider waves said Hermeti Balarin, executive creative director at its agency @motherlondon. Brilliants!

02.01.2022 Since #hashtags are used with an intent to discover content, the right hashtags can put you in front of your target audience, even if they haven’t connected with you before. Numbers are allowed in hashtags. However, spaces and special characters, like $ or %, won’t work. You can use up to 30 hashtags on a post and 10 on Instagram Stories.... But here is the fun stuff... There are different types of #instagramhashtags: Community hashtags connect like-minded users around a specific subject. You can use words around your business -niche in your industry (#DigitalMarketing), product or service (#ProductPhotography), community (#SmallBusinessBrisbane), special events (#AustraliaDay), phrases relative to your business (#creativelife). Branded Hashtags: Those are unique to your company and can be as simple as your company Tagline or name. Campaign Hashtag: Usually short term, ie #100daysomadchallenge Ideally, you should use a combination different types. So here is a #hack: Instead of using the most popular Instagram hashtags, it’s better to find and use hashtags that are smaller, more niche, and have an engaged audience that’s relevant to your industry. We recommend using @latermedia hashtag suggestion feature, research your competitors and industry leaders in order to find the best hashtag for your brand. Btw: We have used a great guide from Later to create this post. You can find it at Later.com
