There were a lot of stakeholders in the room including the Australian Education City team and some other interesting players. Not too many locals. 06.01.2022 We have been advocating for collaboration to build cohesive 20 minute neighbourhoods for years where people can live, work, shop local and collaborate global. Mixed use enterprise hubs are needed where commuters can work locally for the corporate employers, start up, creatives and local business can work together. As much as we need better transport infrastructure we need these local hubs to get people off the roads, more time with their families and more time to build community. In this hyper connectedworld we have never been so lonely and disconnected. We need human centred design and a bottom up approach supported by all 3 tiers of government and major stakeholders.
