23.01.2022 Hello Ladies! Its been a little while since I last introduced myself and, lets be honest - Im feeling like a chat. Im Rose, a step-mum to a 17 year old and mum to a 14 month old. Both boys, I never thought I would be a mum of boys, but I wouldnt have it any other way! I am proud to call the Far South Coast of NSW, Australia home.... At the moment, you will find me spending my Saturday nights drinking Pinot and watching Netflix with my gorgeous husband. Probably with chocolate or salt and vinegar chips in hand, actually could be both! I actually love winter near the coast because it is so sunny and I can actually enjoy it with my pale skin and not burn. I am also a typical Cancerian and totally drawn to water, I love going for a walk on the beach or putting my feet in the fresh river water My fave form of relaxation is having a massage or a hot bath (I never get to have a bath because of drought and being on tank water) both with candles and relaxing music. Fun fact about me is that I am actually a Dairy Farmers wife! My husband spent his life as a Dairy Farmer until about two years ago. He supplied milk that goes into Bega Cheese. 15.01.2022 #TipTuesday I have found that keeping it simple and striping things back is really necessary in business at the moment. I personally have gone the long way around and started out believing that I couldnt have a business and sell any offers until I had all of the things set up. Which ofcourse when starting out means you just do a whole lot of things poorly. I also paid money for courses that again told me I had to do all the things. The only things you need to do are;... 1. Know who you are serving (so you can find them and communicate with them in the right way) 2. Know what you are offering them (have an offer that you are selling) 3. Know what problems your ideal client has and make sure that your offer is solving one or more of their problems (and that they want your offering) 4. Know your core vision and why (this keeps you going when the going gets tough and is your ultimate direction and goals for your biz) I recently have had to re-visit the acceptance of keeping things simple and turning off pages and parts of my website to focus on one area only and build on getting all the things that I want. You can have a business and be successful while working towards your ultimate goal and vision for your business. Start small and simple, do it well and build the connection to your audience. The rest will come. Enjoy the process and dont over-stress yourself

Because I used to always be conflicted in that I am a very empathetic person that really cares about people and connecting with them but my "talent" and skills is in numbers and business.... Whenever I worked for other people these two worlds never met. I was told that is just the industry and how it is. I never accepted that I also never accepted that people were charged significant amounts of money to have their business numbers organised and managed for them but not explained to them in an empowering and relatable manner. They felt intimidated and often dumb at the things they didnt understand. But they werent dumb at all, they were successful business people who werent communicated with in the right way. This is my why! Because I want to change the way mums in business think about, talk about and manage their numbers. I want mums to feel empowered and confident about their business numbers Understanding your numbers is a really crucial key component to the success of running your business. 10.01.2022 Wow. Its the end of winter already (which emoji best describes how you feel?) To me... It feels like it flew by.... But went slowly at the same time. It is so hard to get motivated and keep to routines in winter. Especially with everything happening this year. Not gonna lie, its a bit emotional #AllTheFeels But just recently I have leaned into the spring feels and the earlier sun to get up early and have some time for me each morning. I am focusing on myself and my health and finding answers. I am focusing on my self care and stealing little moments for me each day. It these little acts and making a routine is actually not hard to do and it makes so much difference in my day. I actually get so much more done and feel so much more patient and grounded.
