15.01.2022 B&Js held a staff BBQ on Thursday to recognise the achievements of many of our employees that have either completed or are in the process of completing training programs, certificates, tickets and apprenticeships over the past month including B&Js achievment of becoming one of three finalists in the National Australian Training Awards. It was also an opportunity to raise some money through the BBQ and a couple of raffles for Anjo - a local boy who has Cerebral Palsy and requires a special truck to help him get mobile so he can get down to the beach where he has so much fun. At last count we had raised @ $2,000!!! Fantastic effort by all the staff at B&Js Big big thanks must go to Kapil Guppta from the COMMONWEALTH BANK, Nick Howat from BROOME BOLT SUPPLIES and B&J Management for donating the prizes for the two raffles.

The money raised will go towards buying him a new truck to help him get around. 1st Prize is a Michael "Mr Cricket" Hussey signed and mounted cricket ball with letter of authentication Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the front counter of B&Js until midday tomorrow (the 27th Sept)...
