19.01.2022 So another busy week again. I was very slack and didnt take many photos at all. We had quite a few general services through, supplied another workshop with brakes amd suspension products, egr clean on a prado along with a full suspension upgrade. Also managed to make another batch of wurst and get it in the smoke house.

12.01.2022 Scrap that - Last job before holidays This custimer had smoke coming from the front wheel bearings. The grease looked like tar, so it got new wheel bearings and seal all round. Also a new caliper bolt as one was missing and causing the caliper to rub on the hub

10.01.2022 So this week has been another busy one. This patrol will be leaving us today after spending the past few days in the workshop. It got a full brake system upgrade with new slotted Delios rotors, HD brake pads and ADR approved braided brake lines and a full fluid flush. A full front end rebuild including swivel hubs, wheel bearings and seals. It also got a new Redarc towpro brake controller and a full service.

08.01.2022 We had a BT50 in today for new leaf spring bushes. Now a pretty straight foward job you think, well it would be if SAX Suspension didmt reinvent the wheel. Unable to source the front leaf spring bush as they are larger than the standard replacements. So what else do u do, put a new set of Outback Armour springs in. So with any aftermarket parts, make sure you can get spares amd that they arn't a hybrid of something

05.01.2022 Last week we had one of our customers who uses CRD Fuel Enhancer drop in for a Diagnostic Scan and Injector Test. It was great to see all injectors well and tru...ly in spec! Even though it hasn't done a lot of Kms this Hilux has been back and forth to Toyota with DPF issues! So now its running FTC Decarbonizer in the diesel to stop that DPF filter from causing problems again. Toyota Hilux 78 000KM

04.01.2022 So i have been doing alot of reserch on these hitches from Gen-y Hitch Australia. I have made multiple phone calls them and they have answered all my questions and doubts. So i bit the bullet and made the purchase. After a few modifications like drilling another hole in the shank so it sat further into the towbar, i fitted it up and took the caravan for a run. All i can say is WOW, what a difference its made. You can see the trailer moving up and down seperate from the vehicl...e. No more thumping when going through wash outs, the vehicle doesnt move. In my opinion from the short 20km drive today just to make sure all everything works, i believe I made the correct decision to purchase one. I will be talking to Chris again on monday to see if we can sell them through our shop.
