22.01.2022 We have just handed over this extension and renovation to the home owners. We hope they enjoy their newly renovated home for many years to come. One of the features includes the Tasmanian Oak flooring which we sourced second hand, to match in with the existing.

16.01.2022 A few of the little construction and restoration projects that have been keeping us busy during Stage 4 restrictions.

10.01.2022 At BJS, we are asked to renovate many bathrooms which have not stood the test of time. This one did. It was a 40 year old bathroom in small space, desperately in need of renovation. It is what we do beneath the surface in our preparatory work that ensures longevity in a bathroom. This bathroom includes copper tapware and several up-cycled features including a salvaged door and copper sheeting on the shelving.

09.01.2022 Another bathroom bites the dust. The hero of this bathroom is a salvaged clawfoot bath which was re-enameled. The design was a collaboration between BJS and our Client, with the main priority to maintain the bath as the centrepiece.

02.01.2022 Our latest project, an extensive alteration and addition to this suburban family home, is coming along nicely. We have been able to clean and reuse the existing bricks to ensure that the extension blends in seamlessly with the original. New Aluminium double-glazed windows and extensive insulation throughout will make this house much more livable and sustainable in terms of energy use. This house will be totally transformed once we are done!
