We have a fresh pack of steak ready, breads been collected, ham will be cut from the bone this afternoon and brownies are in the oven cooking as we speak. ... 23.01.2022 Well the time is here, I have completed my last run for a great truck company for a while , the snack shack is ready to go and Sunday night, 11pm I will be on top of accommodation hill ready to make the taste buds of many jump. I’ll have a good quality hand held UHF set up but should have no problem getting drivers from half way house. I’m really looking forward to being able to serve you all

23.01.2022 It’s been a very quiet night as people start to see I’m here, I’ve had a productive night though, lots of cleaning, organising and adding to my list for things I’m missing or things I can do better. It’ll take time, but Rome wasn’t built in a day.

It will take time to build, but enjoying the change from driving. But for the foreseeable future I’ll be there Sunday night though to Thursday night/Friday morning.

21.01.2022 This Sunday we are proud to be teaming up with the management of AAA Exhaust, team Avengers and the Hutts St centre to provide a hot fresh cooked breakfast for the homeless people of Adelaide. This will be provided free of charge and we will be doing this on the last Sunday of every month from now on. If anyone would like to roll their sleeves up and come help for a couple of hours from 9am Sunday, please let me know. ... Thankyou to Liam and liz smart for teaming with us.

20.01.2022 Bron and myself had the pleasure of teaming up with liz and Liam smart this morning from AAA Exhuast to set up at the hutt st centre and serve bacon, egg sandwiches, hot coffee and hot donuts to some of adelaides most needing people. I would also like to thank Craig Anthony and Jason Scott from team Avengers, Karen Schumacher and Kirsty for volunteering and making this so much fun It was a pleasure to do it and we will be doing it again on Sunday 25th oct ... On the 25th oct, instead of breakfast, we will be providing a dinner. To put on a feed like this for around 50 people comes at a great cost. 04.01.2022 Morning friends Today we work hard down at Bunnings munno para to raise much needed funds for a special family. Kiera and Bobby Lovett have 3 children, Connor, 9, Declan 7 and Evie-lee, 3... The family have had to move from their home in port Lincoln to burton to be closer for medical care for Connor and Declan who both suffer with a terminal illness called leukodystrophy. There are only 10 reported cases of this in Australia, and the Lovett family were unlucky enough to cop 2. We are going hard thanks to the generous support from Bunnings Munno Para, and this weekend we will be making fresh hot cinnamon donuts with money going to help these boys and their family to get though the next hurdle of life and make some memories while they still can. The donuts this weekend are 1 for $2 4 for $5 10 for $10 24 for $20 Fairy floss will be priced the same We will also have a lucky number board running at $10 a square 1st prize is a tradies radio valued at $499 2nd a $200 Bunnings voucher. 01.01.2022 Good morning all, For those of you who are not aware, bj’sisonly 5 days from opening. I have jumped though hoops, ran around obstacles and given my left testicle to make this dream a reality. ... My wife Bronwyn, and our CEO, BJ, Brenton James (4 year old son) and I are extremely excited for this adventure. What may also be a really bad secret is our families passion for Variety, the children’s charity, and helping those children who are sick, disabled and disadvantaged in South Australia. For the last 4 years, we have owned our 1967 HR Wagon and been lucky enough to lead Team Avengers in the South Australian Variety Bash. So far since 2016, team Avengers has raised over $100,000. But our jobs not done. When you visit BJ’s for a coffee and a toasted sandwich, you will find different ways you can support variety SA and help us to continue to make a difference. We will have raffles, lucky number squares with some really good prizes, Avengers merchandise, like stubby holders, lanyards, stickers, chocolate bars and a rattle can on the counter if you would like to just donate. Donations can be made though eft and card payment as well, I can provide you with a link straight to Variety SA.
