24.01.2022 Leading into storm season, you may have heard advertised power surge protector power boards you can buy at leading outlets to help prevent damaging your appliances and equipment. A standard 4 power outlet protector board retails at around the $100 mark and will only protect the appliances that is plugged into that board. What also is available that people are unaware of is a surge arrestor which you can install into your switch board. At around $170 for a standard home installation it protects all outlets, appliances, electronics and lights.
