25.01.2022 A client of ours was short a set of drop sides for one of their work vehicles and asked if we could knock a set up for it. They look a bit shiny on the old girl but a couple weeks at work theyll match up. #bkrwelding

24.01.2022 A client from Niangala contacted us to do a modification to a dozer blade. He wasnt happy with the hight of the blade and wanted it extended to allow the dirt to peel forward rather than spill over the top. We also replaced a mounting lug to take a different ram.

22.01.2022 A customer of BKR approached us about modifying an old grain distributor bin into a cattle feeder. The client required it to be easily moved and also to allow a feed mix to flow rather than just grain. We used a skid design on the bottom, allowing it to be dragged easily and kept the gate wider to suit the mix they use. This is the end result.

21.01.2022 In the house we had an open fire place, although they are great to look at, they are not a very effective heating source unless you are sitting on top of it or cooking a camp oven inside. So we decided to design something to warm the house a bit more efficiently. Its done two winters now and does the job just right.

21.01.2022 A local farmer found himself in a spot of trouble with the result being a damaged draw bar on one of his chaser bins. You can see the extent of the mishap in the before photo below. In no time we were able to repair the damage and have him up and running again. #bkrwelding

21.01.2022 A good mate of BKRs was looking for a way to keep the weather off his pool pump but wanted to conceal it in a neat and tidy way. We built this custom made pump shed thats easy to access and tidies up the corner in his pool yard. #bkrwelding

18.01.2022 MBS Resources were looking for a modification to the toolboxes on one of their utes to enable them easily remove both boxes and compressor when they wanted to head off camping on the weekend. Before this modification they had to spend an extended period of time removing the current boxes to allow them to load their canopy to head out bush. We made the unit one allowing them to easily lift it off and on as a whole allowing more time for the important things in life like enjoying a cold stubby around a warm fire. #bkrwelding

16.01.2022 Being boilermakers and loving what we do here at BKR, we quite often get asked by mates on a Friday night to build them a fire drum to keep their toes warm in winter while they bask in the incredible outdoors we have on offer during the colder months. The idea of a quality, custom made fire drum has always been floating around in the back of our minds and recently we decided to bite the bullet and bring our vision to life. We couldnt be happier with the end result and I think these photos speak for themselves. #bkrwelding #fnhotfiredrum

15.01.2022 A large beef producer from Breeza contacted BKR Welding to fabricate more feeders to allow them to service their increased stock numbers. We checked out their current feeders, drew up some plans and built these custom made ones. We fabricated 12 in total and the result is shown in these photos. #bkrwelding

14.01.2022 A couple of young fellas who chop wood to make some extra coin came to me with a dilemma. On this particular Saturday when they had quite a few loads to cut and deliver they managed to bend the backing plate on their wood splitter causing it not to split correctly, of course right when they needed it most. Being the weekend we were unable to source any steel but luckily we had some 16mm plate floating around at the workshop. The end result was a log splitter with a little over engineering for the purpose but it worked like a treat and got them moving again. #bkrwelding.

14.01.2022 A local produce store in Tamworth was having some issues with their hay grab. Damage was getting caused to the fork tubes when driving the spikes down into the hay. We easily solved this problem on both their implements by simply running some flat bar along the top to strengthen that section of the fork tube. #bkrwelding

14.01.2022 A farmer from Weabonga rang with an issue to do with his old auger which had been working fine for years until it happened to be reversed over by a truck. I flew up Friday afternoon took some measurements, the next week grabbed the parts and repaired the auger to have him up and running again with minimal down time. #bkrwelding

12.01.2022 A client of ours hit a spot of bother when they had broken the axle on a low loader trailer. We removed the axle, repaired the damage and re-fit. #bkrwelding

11.01.2022 A client of BKR Welding had a hydraulic arm for the axle of an offset disc plough that has had many repairs over its time, unfortunately as the picture shows it was just not holding up. When we were asked to repair the issue we suggested we do it correctly once, so its up and running for some time before it needs any attention again. We replaced the arm with a new section of steel and repaired the worn out holes and sent it on its way.

10.01.2022 A client from Niangala contacted us to do a modification to a dozer blade. He wasn’t happy with the hight of the blade and wanted it extended to allow the dirt to peel forward rather than spill over the top. We also replaced a mounting lug to take a different ram.

09.01.2022 A customer contacted us wanting to replace the guards under each side of her bull bar on her ute from plastic to steel. Apparently she had some trouble finding someone who would have a go at it. With a little bit of a play around we were able to make it happen for her. #bkrwelding

08.01.2022 A local farmer from Geraldine contacted us wanting to build a body for their new light truck. The customer had already bought a pre fabricated tipper sub-frame fitted with rams ready to use and was looking to have the body built to suit.

07.01.2022 A client of BKR in Niangala had an excavator bucket that they were wanting to use on a quick hitch that was slightly big for this particular bucket. They asked if we could remove the ears and put them in a wider position to suit the quick hitch they use. There is not much difference, just remove and re-weld. Here are some photos

04.01.2022 Here is an old one. One of the first jobs we took on was this handrail modification. The customer was not happy with the height of the original handrail and was looking to have it extended without having to remove the original railing. Originally the handrail was only on the one side of the stairs and she was wanting handrail to run down both sides and in front of the garden to stop people walking through her garden instead of around on the path. We come up with this idea for her. #bkrwelding

03.01.2022 We knew starting our own business would of course have its challenges so we wanted to ensure we kicked BKR Welding off on the right foot. Knowing we wanted to offer mobile services meant we needed a good set up, so we decided to build our own trailer to get exactly what we were after and why wouldnt we, its what I do after all. Apart from one or two little things wed tweak in the next model, we couldnt be happier with our main trailer, the foundation of our mobile setup. #bkrwelding

02.01.2022 Long weekends are for getting things done - Couple of progress shots on a build just outside Narrabri. 2 x 20ft shipping containers @ 24 mtrs inside providing 4 x 6 metre bays.

01.01.2022 A little project for the better half. Look a like butchers block for the coffee machine to sit on. The top is made out of old fence paling's with a laser cut strap to add a little fancy design. A few more old paling's from another fence to finish off bottom shelf.

01.01.2022 A customer from Breeza who we had previously built cattle feeders for in the past contacted BKR Welding in need of another ten feeders. We set a date to start and got them completed as quick as possible for them. #bkrwelding
