13.01.2022 The snapper don’t know there’s a closure (until 15/08) and although we’re not targeting them, they do take baits that are set for other species. We’re seeing some nice specimens come aboard for a quick pic before being vented (to reverse the effects of barometric trauma), swam (to aid successful release) and then finally released to continue with their all important spawning.
