24.01.2022 VB - VL Seat adaptor set to suit factory holes all packed up and heading east. Best thing about this design is being able to have the brackets in or out to give various sizes to suit all seats

22.01.2022 After a big swing! Is there a better way to get picked up?

22.01.2022 We love being able to make sure Perth’s drag racing history doesn’t get lost, by bringing cars that have been around for some time up to a current spec. And the FX is no different, this big girl is now up on the table getting a new tube front end, cage, steering and firewall. Even though everything is being upgraded our main priority is to keep that nostalgic look and feel. The car has character and we don’t want to loose that.... Think about all the cars you have seen over the years and wonder what happened to them or, what their next plans are?

21.01.2022 Can anyone guess how many meters of Chrome Moly we used in this build?

17.01.2022 I borrowed Lauren’s table for my little project I am working on. How good is this table, needed to do the floor pans to easy. Just put her up on pro jacks to gain excess. Also can check that our 4 link pro jack mounts work correctly. Lol

16.01.2022 Over the next few days we will show you what we have been working on lately. Give you the ins and outs of how to make a old dog do new tricks, Stay tuned!

12.01.2022 Over the last few weeks the guys at Modified Diesel Performance were lovely enough to give me free range on a rear clip and cage in their Hilux. By building 90% on the jig table and transferring it to the chassis after cutting off the rear half made building this clip much easier. It’s completed with a Race Products 9 housing which I designed and cut a style of 4 link bracket to suit anything the guys want to throw at it. ... The anti roll bar is a 1 1/2 splined extreme pro series set up from RJ Race Cars, Sitting nicely above the 7 double adjustable shocks by Strange Engineering. The 4 link bars are 1 1/2 .120 chrome moly with 1/2 3/4 Aurora Rod end and a in house built wishbone to locate it all. The purpose in this build for me was to design and build something that will last the distance and not be outgrown by power. We’re extremely excited to be involved in something different for us and can not wait to see it at the track! - Lauren

11.01.2022 Hand crafted, and a one-off #FIFTY

06.01.2022 An awesome race in the radial class on Saturday with the VK taking the round win with a 7.84 and a 1.22 in the 60’. Jarred chasing down hard with a PB in the VL with a 7.93. The track was tightening up as the day went on, so we made Shock adjustments accordingly to suit the power management coming in from STREETBUILT Racing. Ensuring that we were making it down the track to get the data needed. Excellent driving by George in a car that many great hands have been apart of to b...uild, with his family by his side helping all the way #blackmagicracecars #performancecarbtuning #streetbuiltracing #lurchescustomfabrications #lundyracefab #audioimage #prospeccabinats

05.01.2022 Late last year, Knocking on that 6’s door @activeautomotive #howsthegetup #radial #315 #barangleiskey

03.01.2022 We are beyond pleased with how George and the Kelly Family's VK handled the tight track on Saturday night. The car was consistent from the first pass and it just kept getting better. 7.74, 7.73, 7.75 with 1.19 in the 60' Then to jump straight to 7.60 with a 1.16 in the 60' goes to show when the conditions are right, and you have the correct chassis/suspension set up, to go with a well built engine and dialled in tune those numbers will show.... Well done to every one who has had a working on this car! truly proving its self again and again

03.01.2022 A little bit more welding and then this batch of Commodore Radial Arms are ready to send out

03.01.2022 As of tomorrow we will be back in the workshop ready to jump into a lot of exciting projects, Thank you to every one who supported us in 2020, we appreciate it! One of our favourites from last year is Mats VS Ute that made his way into the 8’s on the weekend. We are stoked with how it’s separating with a set of our Radial Drop Arms and coil overs in the rear. ... Nothing cooler than driving to the track, running a 8.91 changing the wheels out and driving home. True street car!

02.01.2022 Last Wednesday night I was fixing a couple of welds on the floor plan of the Studebaker when it came to our attention some cracks through the chassis. Being only 15 minutes from starting up up and loading, being ready for the 2nd January meeting the look was thrown around, and I said start stripping it. All hands on deck in 1 Hr 20 we had it back to a rolling chassis. Having only gone through the same thing a couple of weeks earlier with the Falcon it felt like ground hog ...day. But we were all determined not to let this stop us. The true Moresby mantra. Dropped of to Dad and I Friday, started cutting Monday, returned yesterday and by 11 last night we had 3/4 of it back together. When these cars hit this level there is no it’ll be right just run it and see the load and stress they goes through it is good practice to look and look and look again to ensure that if anything can go wrong you catch it first. We all know these hurdles are what makes drag racers, and a good reason why a lot of amazing cars are parked up in sheds. That feeling of accomplishment when everything falls into place is why we do it. It’s an addictive feeling and to all the racers who are busting there ass’s just like this crew, Thank You. Because each and every one of you are keeping our sport alive.

02.01.2022 VN underside, the old man was on a roll with this one
