23.01.2022 Congratulations to Black Marlin Team for winning overall 3rd Place in 2017 National Subs in Schools Submarine class, they Second to AEgir Group Yr 10-12 Students. Thankyou to Thales Tamara and Norm for all your support. Next year the girls are plannng to start early and take out the No1 Spot.

10.01.2022 Special Thanks to Thales for mentoring the team to overall 3rd in the Nationals 2017. Look out next year they have big boots to fill and they are growing fast to fill them. Congratulations AEgir Group top of the class in 1st Place 2017.

08.01.2022 Welcome to our Facebook page! We are the Black Marlin Group, the all girls team from Carlingford High School who are in the Subs in Schools Competition run by the REA. The Subs in Schools Competition is a majorly challenging competition that surrounds the fields of technology and engineering. It is a competition where students must build a submarine and tests a variety of skills during the process. As this competition mainly surrounds submarines, we decided to create our team name from the fastest fish in water, the Black Marlin, to resemble the speed of our submarine.
