11.01.2022 24 YEARS AGO.... Our guests Noel & Diane from the Gold Coast stayed at the Blackall Caravan Park ( just like they do most holidays). But this trip was special, as Di whipped up a dunny poem for the Managers, at the time, Marj & Ivan. It was named "The Opera House". Then, just this week, they were surprised to see Di's hand written 24 year old poem, typed out, laminated and hanging pride of place in no other than the original Dunny it was written about at our Park! What a wonderful trip down memory lane and wonderful to have guests who visit and stay with us time and time again! Thank you Noel & Di! Turns out our whole Dunny is filled with tales of terrifying thunder boxes, prestigious porcelain thrones & outrageous outhouses! Do you have a great dunny tale worthy of the wall of our loo?

10.01.2022 And out came the sunshine to dry up all the rain! Blackall has recorded 35mm yesterday. This is more than the September average and also the wettest September day since 2010. Thankfully the sun is shining and drying up our camp sites.
