19.01.2022 How to look good in your photos? Here's one tip: Strike a Pose! Stand up straight and tall, lift your head (imagine a string pulling your body upwards.) Then stick your chest forward and pull your belly in then let your shoulders relax. Shift all of your weight to the back leg and let the knee of the opposite left pop out. Pop your hip out just a touch to give some curve. Let your arms relax to the side and slightly bend your elbow. The goal is to have some space between your arm and your body. 17.01.2022 Back from a 10 days silent meditation bootcamp and back online yesterday, and found that all of our April May weddings are cancelled. We were so looking forward to the NSW and The Grampians wedding trips, the Star Wars theme wedding and other cool local Melbourne weddings... This crisis affected the whole wedding industry including photographers, videographers, venue staffs, cake designers, florists, makeup artists, dress makers, DJ & MC, event planners, photo booth vendors,... album & printers, stationary & decors... and their families. Hang in there!, this will pass, love will win again! Cant imagine the emotional affect for the brides & grooms who have been planning and paying for the biggest events in their life, and with just one week notice to cancel their weddings Please postpone and not cancel the wedding, and use the same suppliers again on a new date. Every wedding is a new love story, new couple, new setting, new personal preferences on how they would like to be photographed... 01.01.2022 [What's the main reason videographers are so expensive?] The main reasons are that its expensive to learn, expensive to do and time consuming for editing. The gear to shoot (cameras, lenses, audio recorders, lighting, tripod, etc)... The computer to edit, software and licensing for editing, licence for music, storage space for all the huge files of footage, insurance for protection, all adds up. Editing can take a long time and theres more to it than people think for "just... 8 hours". Most videographers shoot wedding for passion, because we love to create beautiful memory that is meaningful. If we want to make money, we would have shoot commercial and real estate instead. :P
