20.01.2022 Congratulations to all of the NSW Squad that performed so valiantly at the National Titles last week. I am extremely proud to be our State coordinator, and even prouder of the way you all conducted yourselves throughout the 9 days (couple of small issues that we could have done without) but as a whole, brilliantly done!! Special mention must be extended to Krystal Morton & Nikki Howard on being crowned Australian Ladies Scotch Doubles champions! Unfreakingbelievable!... Also, an amazing effort by John Durbidge to be Runner Up in the Men’s Open Singles. To come 2nd to one of the best players going around, in Jayme White was very special. We now have State Titles and more matches in front of us before selecting the next Nationals team.....I will be looking for some help to move & grow BB in NSW, especially now I’ve been appointed ABIF Vice President, so don’t be afraid to offer your services. Once again, magnificent result NSW BB

16.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTE: The World Championships are in France in October 2022, they may have a NEW category "Grand Masters 60+". If they do, and you are 60 years of age or over and wish to have the opportunity to play for Australia in the Grand Masters 60+ category at the Worlds Championships. Then to be eligible to qualify you must represent your State Team in the Masters 50+ category at the Nationals only. You will not be eligible if you enter Men's or Senior's Category

04.01.2022 I Would like to inform all players that there will be automatic selection into the 2022 team offered to certain players based on their performance at this years nationals. I’m yet to decide on how many players are offered per team, as this will be decided on official stats, and once I know definitely the structure of teams (there is a distinct possibility that Masters & Seniors will be seperate divisions) based on this, the number of automatic selections may change. Below ar...e positions offered based on exceptional performances. I’m pleased to announce that the following players have received their automatic selection immediately, they are as follows: The first automatic selection goes to Sage John Durbidge based on his outstanding performance in the men’s Open singles, and his team performance. Congratulations John. I would also like to congratulate Rory Jowett on his automatic selection too. An automatic selection is awarded to Aaron Batchelor for his performance in the Physical Disability section. Congratulations Aaron. Based on official stats, I’m now offering automatic selections to the following ladies, Nikki Howard (MVP) Krystal Morton Elyce Harris Joy Sullivan. Congratulations Ladies. In the Masters we have 2 automatic selections in Glenn Williams (MVP) and Dale Land. Other automatic selections will be announced as I receive confirmation of results. NSW will be carrying out State Titles and play offs within the next 3 months. These play offs & State Titles will be held in Broken Hill this year (date to be confirmed) and further players will be added to the squad based on performances.
