24.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY Back in 2015 - From this to this in 2 weeks. Our first ever trailer purchase. We bought this trailer from a guy in Wodonga. We were so pleased with our purchase until we drove it out and realised that someone has done some graffiti on the back side (the side we never checked ). We now owned a food truck with a big doodle drawn on the side Chris did an awesome job transforming it ... #throwback #americanbbq #bbq

20.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY ahhhhh, our last wedding before the corona crazies..... on the banks of the river in Kergunyah. Such a beautiful day, weather was perfect and a perfect time for the bride and groom to announce they were pregnant. It’s funny how things work, looking back, we must have known something was about to turn our lives upside down. We went back the next day to pack up, and we took the kiddies. The kids splashed in the river whilst Chris loaded the smoker and trailer on the truck. I can actually remember thinking gee we are lucky to have such a lovely job .... next minute, we are in iso. Can’t wait to get back to doing what we love

15.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY There are many reasons why I chose this one as one of my favs. Firstly the bride Naomi hired us from simply seeing our pics on facebook. She has never tried our food let alone tried American Barbecue. She literally took a gamble and hoped for the best. Secondly, her Mum Kathryn. She has had her health battles over the last few years but nothing was going to stop her that day. Even though she had paid us to do the catering, she wanted to make sure her new... son in law got to eat his favourite salad. She prepared her famous summer salad for all 120 guests. Now, I love a good old cry at wedding, but this one had me blubbering. I peeked through the marquee walls during the father of the bride dance, everyone’s eyes were on the dancers but I spotted her mums face. It was full of love and happiness for both of them and she was just so so proud. It was such a special moment, one that I hope I get to witness with my kiddos one day Amy See more

10.01.2022 We just can't risk it for the brisket Chris and I, along with our family want to take this oppourtunity to thank those who have called & messaged in the past couple of weeks. Of course, the corona virus has turned everything upside down and thrown us all in to a spin. Weddings, festivals, parties, events will have to be put back to later dates but at the moment, this is the least of our worries. We all have a very important social responsibilty to look after those most vulnerable. Most importantly, we will bunker down, protect our family, and work together as a community to help protect others. First up- where it all began, 6 years ago. Our first ever event. We had a crazy idea, kids we had to feed and the cheapest Bunnings barbecue and marquee we could find.
