24.01.2022 The Power of Self Analysis. I started a new project today that involves making a list of your faults and virtues. Then ranking them in order of importance and write about how each fault has impacted you in the past and what you would do differently looking back on it.... It’s really interesting to actually write down what you believe yourself to be good at and also what you think are weaknesses then essentially give yourself the solution to said problems. Most of them have a relatively straightforward answer that you already know but just aren’t doing for whatever reason. It almost sounds too simple to be effective but I guess we sometimes get caught up in the overthinking of our problems and looking for the complex answer because that gives us a reason to not actually do what needs to be done. Also the power of actually writing it out helps rather than keeping it all in your head.

18.01.2022 The Attitude of Gratitude. One thing Tony Robbins talks about a lot is that you can’t be in a state of fear and anger when you are in a state of gratefulness. It makes sense though.... If you are feeling grateful for something, it can be anything at all, then you are unable to dwell on the fears and anxieties that are present in all of us. Something I’ve done, albeit sporadically, over the last few years has been writing a daily gratitude log. Just 3 short sentences in the morning and/or evening that can have a huge impact on the way you feel for the day or before going to bed. And there is always something to be grateful for. If you are reading this you could be grateful for your iPhone. Or the coffee that you just had. Or your friends and family. Anything at all that makes you smile, or feel happy to have in your life or be a part of. PS. This post was inspired by a car crash I saw yesterday, hearing about a friend having a bad time and just feeling grateful in general for all that we have. PPS. This was my grateful list this morning: . - I am grateful for my family and that the kids are better after last weeks stomach bugs. . - I am grateful that I get to train today. . -I am grateful that I got to help Billie Rose with her reading homework this morning.

15.01.2022 There are many people that have a preconceived notion that sales, and marketing in the general sense, are a bad thing. It could be all the old stories of the travelling salesman who swears by the bottle of snake oil that remedies all sickness and misery. Or the shady car dealer with the dark glasses and the twirly moustache who sells you a shiny new car that has just been traded with super low miles on the clock yet it breaks down 4 days after the warranty runs out.... But in reality, sales and marketing is the lifeblood of any business. Without sales the business would not flourish and ultimately, it will go under. And without some type of marketing it becomes extremely hard to get your product or service in front of your ideal customer. Of course there are bad eggs out there that will take advantage of people and tell them what they want to hear, but if you have a product or service that can genuinely help someone then it almost becomes your duty to provide them with the opportunity to buy the solution. Once you begin to look at sales as the method to get someone to commit to a process that will benefit them, whether it is with something they want, or more importantly, something they need then you start to look at it in a completely different way.

14.01.2022 What does AIDA stand for? It stands for ATTENTION, INTEREST, DESIRE, ACTION. So, to make it clearer your letter should: . 1. First, get his attention . 2. Second, get him interested... . 3. Third, make him desire what you are selling . 4. Compel him to take whatever action is needed to get whatever it is you are selling. - Gary Halbert See more

12.01.2022 The power of Kaizen and how it can help you in business, relationships, finance, life in general. Kaizen philosophy can be summed up as the continuous and never ending process of gradual and incremental improvements over time. If you think about every area of your life that needs to improve, often when looking at the end goal it will seem too far away. Almost unreachable.... By applying the power of the Kaizen approach you can break your end goal down into smaller tasks and these smaller, seemingly more attainable steps that you need to take on a regular basis all add up and create the end result. A good example could be if one of your health goals was to lose 15 kgs. At the beginning this can seem like a momentous task. One that almost seems too hard to begin. That you will have to give up too much or put in too much effort. But once broken down into smaller, repeatable tasks like changing one aspect of your diet every two weeks and exercising with a program that you can measure results it becomes more realistic and actually something you can achieve. Or if you want to grow your business to 7 figures and multiple employees but you are a sole operator right now and don’t know where to start. The key is to get started now. Begin where you are with a goal in mind and break it down into a gradual process of what may seem like almost meaningless tasks at the beginning yet will deliver huge dividends over time. It may not seem like much but just a 1% improvement every day will compound over time and before you know it you will be well on the way to your end goal.

09.01.2022 We see countless ads running year after year which we know to be unprofitable. Men spending five dollars to do what one dollar might do. Men getting back 30 percent of their cost when they might get 150 percent. And the facts could be easily proved. Claude Hopkins - Scientific Advertising 1926 This is a Claude Hopkins quote from 1926 that is just as valid in 2018 as it was 92 years ago.... Every day I see people are still using outdated methods without tracking or testing and not being able to see what the returns are on their ad spend. Often it’s just because they’ve been told to do this, or told to do that. And have never questioned the methods or looked for a better way. But, the fact is, there has never been a better time to be able to get something out into the marketplace for so little $$, track results and adjust where necessary. Forget the old scattergun approach of trying to talk to everyone, hoping you get lucky and land in front of the right person. Or trying to compete with the big multinational companies by building yourself as a brand. The truth is that a lot of these big names are only there because they got in early and have copious amounts of cash to throw at their marketing. And in reality a lot of these large corporations are still operating under the old school way of thinking that they know best and are unwilling to change. Yet. So, now is the perfect time to make use of the resources available and run some direct response marketing campaigns that will let you know who wants your stuff, when they want it and how it could be improved/modified.

05.01.2022 If you're not using social media to grow your business in 2018 you are missing out on a massive number of potential eyes on your product or service.

04.01.2022 Something that comes up all the time is What should I be doing to grow my business? Now that’s obviously the first thing that comes to mind when you are looking to get more clients and increase your profits. But what a lot of people don’t consider, is that to really scale to a new level you have to think What shouldn’t I be doing to grow my business.... Take a look at all of the stuff you’re currently doing that you could outsource or delegate to someone else, either in your team or hire a contractor to take care of. If you can get rid of all the smaller tasks that don’t actually require you, you’ll be able to focus all of your energy on the more important things that need to be done. Basically there are 4 categories that you can place everything into: Do - Just do it. This needs to be done now. By you. Delegate - Someone else can do this task as well or at least almost as well as you. Defer - Not urgent and can be put off until later. Delete - Get rid of it

03.01.2022 People have short memories when it comes to what you say. People have short memories when it comes to what you do. But they have long memories when it comes to the way that you make them feel.... So be sure that what you are saying and doing is serving others and making them feel good. We all have a choice every day to lift and encourage others, or to knock them down and focus on ourselves. Make it a habit to help someone that needs it every day without expecting anything in return. Send a message, make a phone call, or tell them in person that you appreciate them.

01.01.2022 We can say many things that sound so good, yet if there is never anything done to action these 'good things', we might as well have said nothing at all. Action is the one thing that keeps us growing, that keeps us evolving as better friends, better businesses and better people. So much time is spent on waiting for the perfect time that often nothing gets done at all.... Do something today, however small, or big for that matter, that will move your life forward in a positive way. Start doing.
