16.01.2022 Partnering with The Royals and BAT Collective for this campaign for Natural Cracker Co. was an absolute dream project and gave us the opportunity to explore our full range of VFX & animation wizardry. Blackbird shot location plates and executed full environment enhancements to get everything into a heightened reality. Mushroom clouds, misadventure and murder...inspired by true events around the British nuclear tests at Maralinga in the 1950's & 60's, premieres on ABC TV on May 31st. Our VFX work includes the atomic explosion, set extensions and CG military hardware, some of our shots appear here in the trailer, we can't wait to share more once the series has gone to air. 'Change The Future They See' is an integrated campaign designed to promote greater visibility of women's sport. This was an eye watering schedule building an interactive metropolis with giant billboards of male athletes coming to life, among other moments of VFX wizardry, in a little over a week!
