25.01.2022 Basilisks 20 - 210* Mudbloods What a muddy group of Basies! In a cold, slippery game, the Basilisks were bested by Mudbloods. We had some solid chances that were shut down quickly by opposing beaters and were outrun by fresher-legged chasers. We had some moments of magic that give promise for upcoming Mudbash and a couple of goals from Gavin that put us on the scoreboard.... Well done snakes! Good preparation for the muddy pitches of Mudbash!

24.01.2022 Post-match report for Sunday 9 June Game #1 Basilisks 70 - 160* Centaurs... A high-scoring game where there were some really strong plays from both sides, the Basilisks held their own but failed to get that scoreboard up in time for the snitch catch. Huge effort with limited subs and points on the board from Jack and Ruth, with strong beating from Sarah, Connor and Oli Game #2 Basilisks 10-170* Manticores Fatigue from game #1 had begun to set in, but the Basi's still put in a great effort, playing against a very strong team. Spectacular goal from Tahlia + a second one at the end which sadly happened seconds after the snitch catch by the Manti's. The points couldn't be added to the scoreboard, but was still a goal in our hearts The Basi's also decided to use the game as an opportunity to swap up our usual positions for funsies, which lead to some interesting results but always useful to build the versatility and agility of our players. A great day and amazing effort all around, 3 cheers for the Basilisks!

18.01.2022 On Sunday the Basilisks took on the Melbourne University Quidditch Club in our final game of the Vic Cup. This match saw the return of Keeper Jack, (providing a long-needed sub for Keeper Gav!) who we welcomed back to the pitch with open arms. Great plays from both the chaser and beater line-ups with some of our best set-ups of the season resulted in 40 points on the scoreboard. A valiant effort from the Basi's saw us finish on *100-40, with the win and catch to the Unicorns.... We're happy to have finished on such a solid game, thanks heaps to all of our players, opponents and supporters for a great year! See you at Spring Carnival

17.01.2022 The Yule Ball has become a tradition for the Basilisks. Maybe all the new glasses with help them spot incoming bludgers? Probably not though.

Quidditch is a supportive, inclusive and diverse sport, which strives to celebrate players of all genders and sexualities.
