19.01.2022 #DidYouKnow The Camp land was originally offered to us by Mr and Mrs Graham Burnett for the use of a Youth Camp in 1972. The Rathburnie Estate is west of the camp and both Mr and Mrs Burnett have been laid to rest on the Estate. Lions Camp Duckadang is an organisation that runs on Volunteers, Donations, Grants without this support we would need to significantly increase our prices which would impinge on our ability to provide reasonable cost accommodation and meals for the... youth and disadvantaged. Income from the Camp is for the maintenance, general upkeep and staff costs. Any equipment and items that need to be purchased such as beds, generators, etc are funded through our District Clubs, various Grants and Donations from Companies and the wonderful people that support our camp. #201Q1 #Q1Lions #201Q3 #201Q4 #AnotherLionsProject #CampDuckadang

17.01.2022 On Sunday 1st Dec we are kicking off our 19th Annual Community Christmas Festival. We would like to thank the residents of Blackbutt Benarkin for their awesome support this year with 4 hrs of free water pod supply. Come down to the water filler station between 10am and 2pm and we will fill your pod for you. If you don't have a pod but need water contact Blackbutt Hire, Neil and Vicki are ready to help. No trucks or more than 2 pods will be filled for free. We want to help as many people as possible in the timeframe. We will also have a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available for those waiting their turn. Gold coin donation please.

16.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to Rosemary and David Day. They are leaving us for greener pastures. Both have been fabulous members and hard workers and we will miss them.

09.01.2022 Tonight we met up with exchange students Noa from the Netherlands and Aline from Brazil. They are part of the International Lions Family and it is a pleasure to host them at our dinner meeting. We got to hear a little about their countries and local lives.
