19.01.2022 Ann-maree and Sharon got to have a sneak peek at our IGA in BLACKBUTT this afternoon. The shelves are stocked and ready to go and the team are training. We are... very excited to announce our IGA will be OPENING tomorrow the 18th of April 2018 at 9am Congratulations to Steve and his team! And a huge thankyou for not giving up !! Share share share!!

16.01.2022 Willo Riley & Emeric Charles instantly loved Blackbutt Qld; they found the people friendly and the town had all they needed, a Post Office, a grocery store, a c...hemist, a doctor's surgery, hardware, a hotel, a bakery, and a few cafes. Friends Of Your Community Post Office asked them a few questions to find out more about them and their Community Post Office. Q: How did you get here and what's the best part of being a Community's Post Office? A: We had a property in the township of Blackbutt and wanted to be able to work here instead of traveling away. In 2009 We were privileged to take over the Blackbutt Community Licensed Post Office. We see the local residents on a day to day basis, whether picking out a present, posting a parcel to a family member, mailing their cards, paying a bill, finding a phone number for them, typing up documents, helping them put their phone recharges on. With the banks now closing their doors in the town, we do lots of banking transactions! To give back to the community which is supporting us, we became involved in several community organisations. Q: What makes your Community Post Office unique? A: We invested in a 200-year-old building on the main street and turned it into a vibrant Community Post Office. Blackbutt, Queensland, Australia

15.01.2022 Thank you Blackbutt IGA for hosting the $50,000 Challenge Thermometer
