24.01.2022 We’ve got a male Channel-Billed Cuckoo keeping all the birds on their toes at the moment. Such a large and dominant bird looking for some eggs in nests. So much bird life here! You just have to sit, listen and tune in to wildlife’s TV!

22.01.2022 We offer boutique style learning and gathering. Our small groups of 20 ensure we can offer intimate yet COVID safe learning environments. The positives of COVID! We will be announcing some small group learning opportunities (12 people max) open deck and outside learning for October and November. We will then take a break till March.

20.01.2022 We are closed for a few days whilst the 2 storey shed is being demolished and salvaged and off to make a new shed on Russell Island . The fellas found a 2m carpet snake in the walls yesterday and relocated her further down on the 2 acre property. Our new build will happen in 2021 and we are excited about the new 2 storey structure that will sleep up to 8 people and have an open plan downstairs with massive deck for our boutique conference space and workshops. 16.01.2022 All set up for this weekends Gin Masterclass. The event runs from 2-6 pm with bubbles, gin tasting, grazing boards and garnish artistry. A mini bus will be running from 5.30pm onwards to get you home safely (within 15 km) and we will have Gingle Bells , Finger Lime Gin bottles and wine companions for sale on the day. 11.01.2022 The cabin will be CLOSED this Thursday 27 August as we (@harliquinblinds) installs a you-beaut waterproof awning that will cover the entire 21 square metres of deck. Given that the Retreat is essentially a tiny home, we need all the available space to be weatherproof! Rain, hail or shine, we’ve got you covered!

We've got a lot going for us: * 5m x 8 m deck * open-air environment... * hand sanitizer on arrival with a side of Bubbles lol * hand washing facilities/single-use hand towels * disposable face mask (if you feel the need) * individual plates and glassware (name tags on glasses) * personal use tongs for food * regular cleans of high touch points in bathrooms * COVID tracking register to sign on arrival * small boutique group sizes If you have any concerns about your health or have symptoms, please get tested and stay home to avoid transmission.
