21.01.2022 The 1972 Valiant Charger E49 has been dubbed the fastest road car to never win Bathurst. It is now one of the few remaining examples in original condition for sale. It is listed for sale at close to $400,000, it is one of the highest asking prices for a Valiant from the same era. Although not in immaculate condition it is one of only a handful original examples remaining.

20.01.2022 Ford Performance has unveiled an all electric Mustang drag car, claiming a 0-400 metre time of 8.27 seconds. Named the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 1400, the drag car uses four 350kw electric motors putting out a total 1100kw of power at the wheels. To put that into perspective, a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport does the 400m drag strip in 9.7 seconds, while the 2018 Cobra Jet, powered by a supercharged 5.2lt V8 took 8.5 seconds.

19.01.2022 Two crashes on Mount Panorama with seven laps to go blew the Bathurst race wide open. Shane van Gisbergen held his nerve to deliver Holden a fairytale finish on the mountain. Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander says the image of Shane van Gisbergen flying the Holden flag after the pair's victory will remain with fans for years to come. The race marked the final time Holden will contest a Supercars event in an official capacity.

17.01.2022 The Moke is making a come back in the UK but the modern version is no longer the low priced, bare-bones it once was. Moke will build a limited run of 56 vehicles, they will be sold for $35,000AUS only slightly more expensive than the cheapest second hand Mokes on sale in the UK. A modern fuel injected, 1.1 litre four cylinder engine replaces the original 0.85 litre engine of the original Moke. Owners can choose from 14 colours and the car comes with a 2 speaker USB radio, h...eated windscreen and 3 gauge instrument cluster. The new model has no airbags so can only be sold as a special build vehicle. 03.01.2022 In Nash County, North Carolina last week a Tesla driver using autopilot has admitted to watching a movie on his phone as his car crashed into two police vehicles that were stopped on the side of the road. The Tesla crashed into one police car which was then pushed into another one before hitting the officers at the scene. Thankfully no one was injured.

02.01.2022 A set of worn out car seats from 1952 are up for sale in the United States for the steep sum of AUD$126,466 thanks to their title as 'the first Corvette seats ever made". The seats were originally installed in 1952 EX-52 project Opel or Cougar - one of the first iterations of the Chevrolet Corvette as we know it today. The seats are currently located in Indiana and the seller says a full ownership history can be made available to the buyer.
