25.01.2022 Hi everyone, been a bit quiet on my page, a tad busy, picking, pruning and cutting wood for the winter. Off to the Chiltern market Sunday morning the 2nd July, then back to the farm to open shop. Drop by and say hi. Sit back in the middle of the forest and take in the view. cheers-woof. 22.01.2022 The big black dog, Bubs and I have been busy! The weather has been fabulous, if you're a duck or a polar bear. But black dogs are very busy dogs out in the community rounding up people for the Black Dog Soup Kitchen which kicks off this Wednesday 23rdAug,(just in case you have been asleep or not facebooking). We have been barking at shop fronts and any body that will listen. We have had a great response of help and donations. So come and get a cup of soup or a pie on Wednesday at the Lions Club's kiosk next to WAW in Conness St Chiltern between 5 and 7pm. Don't be shy, get a feed instead. Its FREE. So be there or be square.

21.01.2022 Black Dog Olives has been a bit busy the last few months, concentrating on its sister charity The Black Dog Soup Kitchen. We will be at the Easter Sunday market in Chiltern at Lake View House, come along and enjoy the day. On Saturday 28th April we will be at the OFF Grid Living Festival at Eldorado. I will have our oil, olives, jams and sauces to taste and buy if you like them. The organisers have sold 5000 tickets to people from Old, NSW and Vic. Coming from far and wide. 21.01.2022 Black Dog Olives has been a bit busy lately supporting the Black Dog Soup Kitchen. Been a bit hectic actually. I have just made some more lemon butter and some olive tapenade. the last lot ran out the door. I have 3 types of olive oil to try and my tomato sauces are new. I'll be over at the CFA do in indigo valley - 937 Indigo Ck Road this Saturday 28th from 2 to 6pm. Come along and learn a bit about your local CFA. They do tremendous work out in the community. ... They are having a couple of food stalls and information on how it all happens! Support your local CFA!!

16.01.2022 Black Dog Olives catered for the MoRide last night at the Goods Shed in Chiltern. What a nice bunch of people! And they even ate my food! All for a good cause cycling round the district to raise money for a noble cause. All the organisation takes a big effort for this sort of event. Congratulations to it being a great success. 14.01.2022 Spring is here! Weather is improving (sometimes!) and the bush cafe is open. Drop in for a cuppa and a bite to eat. Some olives, oil or jam and sit back in the sun and chill out! Quick survey, tell me what you think: Am thinking of putting an outdoor screen up in the front yard and having movie nights. Kids movie early then one or two for the big kids when the sun goes down. Will cater for it. minimum charge. Sit on the lawn or chairs. I'll put the marquees up if needed.... Yeah or Nay??

11.01.2022 Black Dog Olives has been pretty low key this last year due to few technical hitches with ticker. The BDSoupKitchen deliveries have taken priority. Call if you are wanting olives or oil, I still have some. Trees keep producing all by themselves lol. Peter

10.01.2022 Hi to everyone out there, Black Dog Olives has been in hibernation along with lots of others. Hope you are all well. 2020 will be the year of resurrection for Australia’s economy and all 25 million of us will become more healthier, happier and wiser.

05.01.2022 Hi to all out there in cyberspace. A few new things lately. Have been cooking and baking. Just made some Tomato sauce with a difference. Nothing at all like the supermarket stuff. No preservatives! Tastes Yummo! Have some new Strawberry jam and a couple of marmalades, orange & Grapefruit and an Orange lemon & lime.... Our oil this year has been great, the 3 varieties: Frantoio, Corregiola and Barnea give a good range for the appeal to all tastebuds. Have been trying out Bread&butter pudding, Tapioca with a twist. Been a hit in Chiltern. Karen has made some more Quiche Lorraine without the pastry which has also been popular. The Bush Cafe is a place to sit back and chill out. Kid and dog friendly. 05.01.2022 It's Fathers Day this Sunday! I'll be at the Chiltern Market all morning till 1pm then back at the ponderosa (Mt Pilot) for the afternoon. Just made a fresh batch of tapenade. Lemon butter tomorrow with a whole raft of pies and cakes for the weekend. So drop in to the market or up to the farm!... Happy Fathers day for all those Dads out there! Cheers Peter
