21.01.2022 This picture says a thousand words. This little lady has been training with us for a year. She first started by sitting at the edge of the mats and watching. A few months later she would stand in line, but talking to her might bring her to tears! A few more months, and she would participate in every activity with a little help from Renshi. Lately she’s been jumping right in, and in this picture she’s leading the count for one of our exercises! A lot of families sign their children up for martial arts because they want them to gain confidence, but then stop attending lessons after a few months when they don’t think they see results. This picture is proof that building confidence in a child requires commitment, relationship, and patience!
