19.01.2022 Poor New Zealand, They lost both the Americas Cup and the World's top Alpaca Fleece Award. With 5 fleeces entered in Hamilton NZ we took out the Supreme Champion Huacaya Alpaca Fleece, another Champion, a Reserve Champion and single first award. The trophies and fleeces are not back in Oz and we'll have them on display in the upcoming National Show in Bendigo, the week before our auctioning of all our alpacas (except 6) on Sunday 20th October.

03.01.2022 We sold 410 lots and the farm with its two homes, Blackgate Lodge and Blackgate Cottage is now up for sale. We are having our first Open for Inspection day on Sunday 15th February at 1-2 p.m. Hopefully someone will see our unique property nesceled in the Manna Gums. We fell in love with the place when we saw it and purchased it 18 years ago. Now due to old age setting in, we have to downsize.
