24.01.2022 Congratulations to Blackheath Cricket Club's Isaac Roberts who was successful in getting through the first stage trials for the Sydney West PSSA cricket at Springwood on Monday. Only 4 were selected from 30 or so. He qualified for the second trials at Blacktown and if successful there will play with Sydney West PSSA cricket in the state carnival later this year. Well done Isaac!

19.01.2022 The first net century of the season was scored by Nathan Weber last week, a fine 108 n.o. (self-counted) With shots that belonged on a YouTube instructional video, he's hoping for his first 50 this season, and looks good. Hope all the training pays off mate. Best of luck to all combatants in the local derby at Blackheath Oval that kicks off tomorrow at 1pm, fingers crossed for the weather. How will 1sts go without DB? Will the kids playing seniors take prized scalps? Bragging rights for net sessions are on the line!

Stage 1 begins this Wednesday at 4.30 pm at Top Reserve, Katoomba. Stage 2 begins next Saturday at 8.30am at Top Reserve .

16.01.2022 Blackheath's opening bats for yesterday's stage 2 thirty over match versus Wentworth Falls. They both batted beautifully to lay the foundation for a fine win. Well done stage 2 cricketers! We are still in need of a few more young cricketers so if you're under 13 and are keen send us a message or come down to training Monday or Thursday from 4pm.

15.01.2022 Blackheath Cricket Club is supporting Shoosh for Kids awareness week. Shoosh for Kids isn’t about keeping quiet at a game it’s a reminder that, when it comes to junior sport, if you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. So this season, we’re asking spectators to remember that sport should be fun and to show respect to kids and officials. Find out more at: https://bit.ly/2W06XE1
