23.01.2022 Tomorrow, Wednesday the 2nd of September, is National Health and Physical Education Day. As a school community we normally celebrate this annual date with some fun lunchtime games and activities. This year of course will look a little different. Instead I have shared the point challenge via the virtual PE classroom. Students and family members can try and score as many points as possible by completing the different tasks listed on the table. Complete as many as you can and ...submit your score by Thursday afternoon following the directions on the bottom of the page. The highest scorers will be announced in this weeks Blueprint episode. Let’s get active Black Hill!! Feel free to share a picture on this post of your family getting active or leave a comment to let us know what your favourite game or activity is! https://drive.google.com//1S7OtiSninE4t0k5sn4BfZGIz5/view
22.01.2022 We are so pleased that Daniel Andrews’s latest announcements have resulted in a change to the return of onsite learning. As you would be aware, the information on Covid-19 restrictions has been a moving target. On Tuesday evening we received a new update from the Department on the return to school. The staff and I have met and considered the directions and at Black Hill Primary School in Term 4 we will be welcoming all students back to onsite learning at school on Tuesday Oc...tober 6th. The first day of Term 4 Monday 5th October will be an online remote learning day for students and the content will be the Wellbeing day that has been running on a Thursday. Classroom teachers will be finalising the organisation to welcome all students back to school on Tuesday 6th. Supervision for students of essential workers and vulnerable students will be provided as per usual with the required onsite attendance form to be provided to school as early as possible. Some schools may have different arrangements and stagger starts over the first week of Term 4. More information will be in today's newsletter. See more

20.01.2022 I was talking to Dewey about Community on the weekend. I told him that where you live is your community but also groups are a community -like our school. Communities care about each other. He seem puzzled. Then I told him that Community is when Miles and Lola's mum from the Vets slips a few liver treats in the packet with your worming tablet -That's community !

On-site supervision for children will continue to be provided for children of permitted workers and vulnerable students during remote learning. At Black Hill Primary School all students will return ...to Onsite learning from Monday 12th October. More details will follow later in the week regarding the implementation of the return to onsite learning. Warm regards Donna Bishop Principal Black Hill Primary School See more

16.01.2022 Home learning photos for magazine. It's that time of the year when we start putting our yearly magazine 'The Lookout' together. This year will look a little different - like most things. We would love any photos you may have of your children during home learning - whether it's hard at work as a desk, enjoying some of the specialist activities or taking part in other activities. This will give us a lovely record of our topsy turvy 2020 year. Please email photos with your child’s name to [email protected] Thank you!
