Travelling well over 4,000 kms reaching 100’s of people. It’s very easy to forget just how dry it got out here while we’re currently standing ankle deep in mud, but our little green paddocks still glowed despite the brown that surrounded it. ... 07.01.2022 As the search for hay becomes more desperate, Black Iron Hay has received an inundation of calls and messages over the past week, as people begin to expand their search area. Unfortunately we are out of hay at the moment. We are hoping to have a new cut in coming weeks. Our grass has been pushing an up hill battle against cold frosty nights, dry days and a pesky mob of Roos that have decided to call the place home the last few months, which has slowed the growth of our grass.... We are working really hard to get a supply available to you all. Just a reminder also, that our price is product based; so you won't see a price hike for supply in demand from us. We'll let you all know as soon as BIH has a new fresh, fertilised and irrigated cut ready to go, so keep your eye on this page. All the best with your hay search and send us some growing thoughts.
