15.01.2022 Our Sunday sessions at The Horn are cancelled until further notice, we love getting up close with you all but it just aint the right thing just now. 14.01.2022 Strange times, not gigging until whenever this is over, our Africa tour cancelled for obvious reasons (we'll be back MTN BUSHFIRE, Azgo Festival, African Jazz Village and all) so we're holed up working on new things. But really good news is Agogo Records' global release of our latest album with our dear friend and mentor Mulatu Astatke, 'To Know Without Knowing'. Really digging working with Agogo Records, hope you dig the sounds.
13.01.2022 So great full to be able to receive and share this award with everyone, thank you all for the support. BJX will be preforming this Sunday for our usual end of year party, hope to see you then, if not we’ll see you on the new year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

06.01.2022 More tasty reviews for Mulatu + BJX’s To Know Without Knowing. 4 stars in The Observer over the weekend, and in this issue of Blues & Soul Mag An absorbing ride Observer https://www.theguardian.com//mulatu-astatke-black-jesus-ex ... To Know Without Knowing reminds us that Ethio-jazz isn’t music that’s just rooted in the ‘60s but an ever-growing, expanding art form that has such relevance today. Blues & Soul Mag
