23.01.2022 And some work on one of my own bikes. It reminds me of a TV advert. "It won't happen overnight, but it will happen".

18.01.2022 The customer called in to look at his Harley Muscle 1250cc today. He's always happy and he loves his bike. He wants it blacked out with just the red calipers and a red painted ring around the rim. It's all 2k paint except the caliper paint which is a ceramic blend.

18.01.2022 The shop doors are closed but I'm a sucker and I can't say no to people wanting help. If anyone has some old plastic that has lost its colour, gently warm it with a heat gun and the surface will melt just a bit and the original colour will come back. I don't know if a hair dryer will have enough heat but it just might. I'm treating this Honda part.

17.01.2022 A bit hard to see here but this is the first rear seat cowl for a Kawasaki KR1S. Evidently they're as rare as hens teeth so a friend sourced on from the UK and brought it I'm for me to make a mold. I popped this one out and it's perfect. I hope to pop a few out a week and sell them on eBay. Fingers crossed.

17.01.2022 It's Harley central in here. And I like it. They're all here for custom work of one sort or another.

13.01.2022 New switches for the bobber. The original clunky switch block has gone and this sleeve will just slide over the bars. The sleeve will be blacked out so the switches should all but disappear.

10.01.2022 I'm still working to clear the shop. Today is the day for a Triumph 1050 Speed Triple to have a bit of a Birthday. A service, fork seals, brake pads, indicators and foot pegs.

09.01.2022 Respect to my favourite era of Formula 1. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEFECUVoPH3/?igshid=8dv6p9cozr0a

09.01.2022 I'm still finishing up bits at the shop and one of the jobs was to repair a Rochester carburetors for a Brock Holden VK. There was a list of things wrong with it and one of them was this perished cam for the secondaries. So after cleaning the carb in the blast unit I traced and cut out a new cam using aluminium, not plastic. The secondaries should kit in now and the part might outlive the rest of the carby.

06.01.2022 It's Harley central in here at the moment which is nice. Three Harley's for custom work. Two of them are in for the "blackout" treatment.

02.01.2022 And who doesn't like a bit of polishing on a cold wet day. These parts are from a Ducati 916. An iconic bike but there is always room for a bit of polish. The side stand had a casting seam on it so I took that off, removed the remaining silver paint and polished it up. The heel protectors just needed the paint removed, the surface flattened off with wet and dry sandpaper and then polished. It's going to look great against the red Ducati paintwork.

02.01.2022 I finally got around to doing some fabrication on my cruiser. I wanted some fat bars that were really clean with no riser bolts.
