24.01.2022 Sadly the midweek series ended on Wednesday afternoon and fittingly the BYC cconducted a fabulous race, with bad weather threatening all boats were able to complete the course pack up and retire to the club house before the rain came, well done to all competitors Team Black Magic managed a 2nd on handicap thanks to the crew for a wonderful series.

09.01.2022 What a fantastic IOR Cup regatta conducted by the Bellerive Yacht Club, Friday night twilight race sailed in 25- 30 knot nor westerlies saw the 4 divison 1 boats finish within 13 seconds of each other the zvan de stadt 40 Insatiable claiming line honours from the Dubios duo of 40s Ultimate Challenge and Black Magic with the Farr 38 Guitana a close 4th. Saturday saw 3 races sailed in very blustery conditions anything from 4 knots to 40 knots from all directions and a lumpy swell, honours were shared across the four boats with each boat enjoying some successes and disappointment, overall a fantastic competitive regatta

09.01.2022 Had a break from Big Boat sailing last weekend to take part in the "itsaboatrace" hosted by the Lindisfarne Sailing Club in memory of Eric Szabo an absolute fantastic day in tricky conditions for sailing a Pacer, thanks to my crew Lindsay Mcdougall
