22.01.2022 Big shout out to the Blackman Bicycles team riders who made the long trip to Adelaide this weekend, taking part in the BMXSA 2019 State Championships at Cross Keys BMX. The racing was fast and tough and the results even better! Up first was Harley the Bullet Bradshaw, rode stylish all day and will be bringing the 2SA back to Sydney. Harry Rowlands didnt drop a lap all day and was rewarded, being crowned South Australia State Champion for 2019. Womens Superclass had the crea...m of the crop racing. Gemma worked hard through the motos and was on fire in the final, coming out with 4th. Not to be outdone 30+ Masters Vet Pro rider Owen OJ Douglas worked hard in a stacked field finishing up in 4th.. 18.01.2022 What a great weekend for the Blackman Bicycles team at Tuggeranong for the 2019 ACT Titles, today saw these 4 young men race their hearts out coming away with some fantastic results, Kurt Chapman 17-24 men taking out the #5 plate, Josh Seaton 10 boys taking out the #3 plate, Jayden Seaton 14 boys taking out the #1 plate and Harley Bradshaw 8 boys taking out the #1 plate. Well done guys you have done us all very proud, looking forward to the next round of the NSW State series at Hawkesbury in 2 weeks to do it all again.

16.01.2022 Awesome weekend of racing by some of the Blackman Bicycles BMX Team at the 2019 BMXA BAD BOY National Series - Stage 7 at Canberra BMX Club #BMXANS Superclass rider Gemma-lee Thomas #512 podiumed on Saturday with a great final finishing 3rd... Sunday didnt end all her way, riding well until coming off in the final. Congratulations Gemma on finishing in 3rd place overall for the National Series. Having already sewn up the Series Harley the Bullet Bradshaw didnt drop a lap al...l day in 20" taking out 1st place in the 8 boys!. Then following up with a solid 4th in the 8-10 Cruiser Boys. Harry Rowlands fought hard through the motos, saving his best for the final, coming home with a win in the 9 boys. Not to be outdone, Milan Bradshaw was consistent all weekend and was rewarded with 2nd place in the 10-11 Girls. Ivy Rowlands loved getting air on the Canberra big dipper, finishing off her last year of Sprockets in style! Congrats also to co-sponsored rider Andy Hughes for his first elite national series win! The team are looking forward to heading to Cross Keys BMX next week with riders competing in the South Australia BMX State Titles.

14.01.2022 Great start to the BMX race season for three of the Blackman Bicycles Bmx Team who made their way down to Shepparton for the BMX Australia National Series Round 1. The 45c heat meant racing was postponed by a couple of hours, once under way the heat kept on coming. Making her debut in competitive National racing Ivy Rowlands came out top of the pile for the 8 Girls. Finishing 6th in a merged 9 Girls class. Not to be outdone brother Harry backed himself from Lane 8 in the fin...al to take out the 10 Boys and add $50 to his kitty. Elite Ladies rider Gemma-Lee Thomas finished 5th in Superclass Women as she gets warmed up for the year. Good luck to co-sponsored rider Andy Hughes as he again takes on the worlds best in the UCI BMX World Cup Round 2 tomorrow. The team is now all looking forward to more action at Bathurst next week.

07.01.2022 Good weekend for the Blackmans crew at the 2019 Metro Interclub, 3 tracks 2 days and some intense racing from all. Big congrats to these 3 with the Superstar Ivy Rowlands racing her heart out in the Sprockets coming in with some good results all weekend, Harley The Bullet Bradshaw with a perfect weekend taking first place in the 8 years class without dropping a lap and Holeshot Harry Rowlands tearing up the track all weekend taking the top spot in the 9-10 class well done guys and great results. Big shout to Jayden Seaton who had a terrible crash in practice at Castle Hill breaking his wrist, we are wishing you all the best and hoping for a speedy and full recovery. Also well done to all of the other Blackmans riders who competed over the weekend.

07.01.2022 What a week. 2019 track attack in Victoria. At the first event my carbon speedco cracked after 3rd moto but I still rode it in the final. Warren Millar was nice enough to lend me a frame so I could continue to race in the track attack. Id turn up to a track and only have 3 laps to work it out, then race against Victorian riders that know the tracks inside out. At the end of the series I finished 3rd overall in 17-29 men (semi pro). I also rode at BSX 2019 and it was like nothing Ive ever done, its so fast and sketchy, Ive never had so much fun on a back yard track and I finished 8th in open men. The people I met in Melbourne are so great and Ive made alot of friends. Really keen for next year which is the 20th anniversary.

05.01.2022 Awesome week of racing by the Blackman Bicycles BMX Team at the 2019 BMX Australian National Titles at Shepparton BMX Club. The Team managed to bring home some great results including 6 National Plates for the trophy cabinet. Cruiser Day wasnt the best for the Team with our 3 riders unable to bring home any plates but these guys did their absolute best trying to;... 8-10 Cruiser Boys Josh Seaton - Semi Finals 13-14 Cruiser Boys Julian Carruthers - Semi Finals 40-44 Cruiser Men Mick Carruthers - Motos We also had our Sprocket Rocket Ivy Rowlands having a day out winning all her 4 motos. Ivy will be a handful for the other girls when she hits the 8 Year Old Circuit in 2021. 20 Friday was an absolute cracker for the Team with some unbelievable results by the riders led by the 8 Year Boys Aussies Champ Harley Bradshaw smashing out a cracking Final to take out the coveted 1st place. Full Friday results were; 8 Boys Harley Bradshaw - 1A 9 Boys Harry Rowlands - 5A 10 Boys Josh Seaton - 5A 13 Boys Julian Carruthers - 1/8 Finals 30-34 Men Owen OJ Douglas - 6A 40-44 Men Mick Carruthers - Semis 20 Saturday is Championship Day and saw the Elite Riders take centre stage with some of the age classes provide exciting support to the race card. Gemma-Lee Thomas was making her return to the 8m big hill after her injury set back at the start of the year that seen her spend 3 months on the sideline and come into the event with limited preparation. Also competing was Zoe Cooper in the insanely competitive 16 Girls Age Class. The results for the girls on Saturday were; 16 Girls Zoe Cooper - 5A Elite Women Gemma-Lee Thomas - 5A Congratulations to all the Team Members who attended Nationals and thank you to all the parents for taking and supporting their children.

04.01.2022 Congratulations to the three Blackman Bicycles Bmx Team riders who competed in day 1 of the BMX Victoria 2019 Open State Championship. Ivy Rowlands rode in her last Sprocket event before moving to racing for envelopes next year! Joshua Seaton had a stacked 8-10 Cruiser Boys field and will be bringing the 7V back to NSW. Big bro Jayden also had a great day claiming the 5V in 13-14 Cruiser Boys!... Back again tomorrow for the 20"!
