18.01.2022 This beauty called Leyland 1920 visited us today. Its grace and simplicity attracted attention of all of us at tge Roadhouse. The vehicle featured as Romovalist Truck in Australian film Caddie which was released in 1976. There will be about two dozen such trucks attending a Reception hosted bu us on Fri the 28th of Oct at 1:30 pm. Subsequently they shall march off to Glenn Innes the same afternoon to participate in two days function over the weekend. Credit goes to its care takers.

Thank you to all the passionate owners of the vintage vehicles for attending the Reception at Black Mountain Road House enroute to Glenn Innes Vintage Trucks Exhibition. We admire you for what you do. It was pleasure to host you. Thank you Steve King for providing us this opportunity. We will be happy to do it in future as well.

09.01.2022 Worried about where will you get fuel this Sunday (3/04/16)? Dont stress!!, Black Mountain Roadhouse will remain open as usual for business. Not just fuel but our food and hot & cold beverages will be available too. We are open 24 hours all 365 days of the year and 366 in leap year :)

09.01.2022 First snow at Black Mountain. Road Closed at half past two in the morning to be reviewed after sun rise. Expect to open at 10 am. People are loving the environment.

06.01.2022 We are operating despite power outage today (10 Sep 2017). Our fuel bowsers are working. And business as usual except for small adjustments. We are offering instant coffee as the Baridta Coffee machine is not functional.

02.01.2022 Black Mountain enjoying snow dusting in a chilli afternoon on one of the last days of June 2016. Many tourists are here to watch it transforming in to full blooming snowfall. Some are sitting in side the restyrant next to wood heater, glancing through the windows sipping hot chocolate in great company.
