KALLIDAD combine spanish guitar fire with rock and heavy metal roots to create an intoxicating instrumental sound that has taken the three amigos around the world. The members have visited Black Mountain as tourists and guests in the past but are super excited to perform at the festival for the first time!

15.01.2022 Hey there folks. It looks like BMUP7 sold out in record time (a matter of minutes?). We are all amazed and thankful here! For those that missed out despite some heroic efforts, there will be opportunities to pick up cancellations for sure as we get closer to August. There's also a few Picnic tickets left for June if you want another great BMUP weekend. Anyway we look forward to the big catch up at BMUP7. Thanks again everyone for the faith. We hope we can deliver to expectation. Stay tuned for more music postings from the Goats. They have delivered another supreme musical lineup..see you in August!!

13.01.2022 6th ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT for BMUP7 ...... MIC CONWAY & ROBBIE LONG! In a circus of comedy, music and magic, Mic Conway presents an hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split. Audiences who know Mic from his days with "Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band" and Circus Oz will be delighted by this incarnation: Mic as storyteller of tall tales and true. There are new songs and some oldies close to Conway's heart. He croons "It’s Only... a Paper Moon" and a heart-breaking version of "Mad World", dispenses good advice in "Never Bite a Married Woman on the Thigh" and revisits Captain Matchbox classic "My Canary Has Circles Under His Eyes" and Tom Lehrer's "Masochism Tango". There's magic, juggling, cavorting and that trademark tongue-in-cheek sense of humour. Stripped back, irreverent, and shameless... it's surreal vaudeville for crooning and swooning.

09.01.2022 Yes it's true folks... due to no decision of our own, the Event Black Mountain Unplugged as you know it has reached a close sooner than we all anticipated. Us Goats will no longer be involved in any capacity from performing to booking all the awesome acts and stalls that we presented over the years and we'd like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your belief and support in the baby we all created. You've all been wowed by Chrisso at last year's BMUP, but you're in for a real treat this year when Luke and Chris join forces to bring you their powerful show! Luke O'Shea - 1 of the country's most celebrated singer/songwriters with 9 Golden Guitars on his bedroom floor, will mesmerise you with his stories singing up this incredible country, our diverse history and the unique people who live upon it.... Chris Matthews - the Fella from Kununurra who's fast becoming the voice of the East Kimberley will wow you with his incredibly high energy guitar style, unique voice and love of the stage. Together these 2 larrikin mates deliver a show that is promised to be full of stories and songs, laughter and tears and all things Australia. Psssst ..... They're back folks (due to popular demand), and they've got a whole NEW ALBUM for y'all since they last graced the mountain. ... a wild and rootsy, two piece musical circus playing everything from junkyard blues to Dixieland stomp to dirty cabaret sleaze.... A quirky, musical junkyard from Melbourne, their aim is to use all of their limbs for making music at the one time. Dixieland punk, junkyard blues, sailor songs, wei...rd carnie show tunes and the odd bit of curious pop, their music is joyful, beautiful and a bit dirty and wicked too. With trombone, sweet and sassy vocals, toy piano, guitar, half a drum kit and an abundance of foot stomping, their melodies are infused with wild exuberance and joie de vivre - a Lily and King gig is a truly wild and joyful experience.
