20.01.2022 150 assorted Black Packs full of essentials items to help get someone experiencing homelessness through the day we’re delivered to Fr Bob Maguire foundation this week, along with 40 sleeping bags from our other initiative Sleeping Bags For Homelessness. We love coming together with these incredible organisations to create positive change and help support people in need.

19.01.2022 What a day! We made over 200 food and essentials packs for Black Pack Australia and about 100 Period Packs for people experiencing homelessness and those doing it rough. This was all thanks to everyone coming together in many different ways. A huge thank you to everyone who donated items, donation financially or got the word out there that we needed your help. A massive thank you to this incredible group who gave up their Sunday to come along and help us pack these items an...d especially to Jo who once again organised everything for our packing day, and to Luke (15) our teenage volunteer superstar who gave up his Sunday once again to help out the charity. People came as strangers and left as friends. We have the most amazing volunteers and it was a super fun day! Please tag yourself if you came along today. We are so grateful for your support and can’t wait to get these packs out to those in need. Well done everyone!

18.01.2022 Picking up the last few items for our packing day today! 220 Black Packs and 100 Period Packs need to be made and thanks to your incredible generosity we’ll get them done in no time!

17.01.2022 How do we do this for $5 per pack? Easy! We call on our supporters and followers, those who know helping others is the right things to do. Those who know that people experiencing homelessness need kindness and support not judgement. We gather donations from the public and top each pack up as needed. We shop frugally and we know how to find a bargain to make sure everyone has what they need.... We volunteer our time meaning 100% of every cent donated goes straight into making these packs for people on the streets. We don’t have admin staff or admin fees and costs meaning your donation goes right where it’s needed. We link in with other organisations to make sure no one misses out and we can reach more people. We only make what people need. Nothing goes to waste. Want to help? Great! There are a few ways you can do this. Buy and donate some of the items we use in the packs. Getting friends and family involved is a great way to sponsor more packs. Gather a few friends for a get together and ask them to donate $5 toward a Black Pack. Ask your boss for some time off and get your team to come along for a packing day. To find out more about corporate days contact us to make a booking. Or, chuck in $5 now and we’ll throw a Black Pack together on your behalf and get it straight out to someone sleeping rough.
