23.01.2022 It’s Friday! We’ve been a little quiet on the socials but busy behind the scenes with design jobs and lots of purchasing of new styling pieces for the upcoming Spring real estate market. It’s also getting warmer here on the South Coast so we’re heading to the snow for Pete’s Father’s Day haha ... If you’ve been this year how different is it or is it just as good? Either way we’ve excited!

21.01.2022 Fake or Real plants? The burning question from everyone. I say both, they all have their place. If I know the home owner is going to visit regularly or it’s a partial package I will put real plants in as there’s nothing worse than a half dead plant on an inspection. But fake, there are some good quality plants out there now if you spend the money and if the house is in occupied I will put fake in all the time. Saves worrying about watering and light and they always look happy. Plus easy to move

14.01.2022 Choosing artwork tips. For many people choosing artwork can be a stressful thing and usually left till last. I choose artwork for each room first and then all throws and pillows etc come after. ... When choosing look at things like: - are you instantly drawn to it? - Where is it going? If it’s bright and lots of colour it’s best used in living areas or entrances where as bedroom art, muted tones & black and white prints bring a sense of calm - Scale! Scale is where many people struggle, I always go bigger! 70cmx 100cm is a safe size for a bedroom. In this entrance of this pic I went for two massive 1m x 1.4m each due to the High ceilings. Don’t be afraid of art, it shows your personality and brings life to a room.

09.01.2022 Console styling....you either love it or hate it. I love it! It generally is at the entrance of a property and can make an instant WOW factor. This picture was taken when we first started out on our own investment property...the buyer loved it that much and asked where to buy it all from. Also, taken well before we found our lovely photographer and on an iPhone but still looks the goods. Do you guys find it hard to style consoles or love it like me?

09.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all the fabulous dads today. Especially to our guy Pete, born to be a dad!! He delivered both our girls and since then those hands have learnt to do braids, place ballet slippers on and be our own biggest supporter, clapping his hands and cheering us on. We can’t wait to see you once you reach the surface from underground xx #dadofgirls

07.01.2022 Styling cheat: to get that luxurious thick quilt look on a budget. Try putting two cheaper quilts together in your quilt cover and it will give you that soft and fluffy quilt look you see in the shops.
