20.01.2022 ARDROSSAN ART EXHIBITION The Grainstore Gallery of Ardrossan is holding an Art Sale in the Ardrossan Town Hall this October long weekend, opening on Saturday 5th until Monday 7th October from 10 am 2 pm. Helen Westhoff-Powell is back in business (at the age of 71!!) starting with an exciting Exhibition/Sale of current and vintage works showcasing the spectacular talent of local artists. There are also works from YP, SA, Interstate, Indigenous & International artists. Helen... is proud and excited to be able to offer a wide selection of listed artists’ works. The art ranges from traditional to abstract - Land & seascapes, portraits, figure studies, flora & fauna and, in particular a large selection of exquisitely detailed bird studies from Bangladesh. There is something to suit all tastes. Helen hopes you will visit Ardrossan this weekend to see an eclectic collection of works from some very talented artists. Hello members of York Peninsulas Progress Associations;... I am writing to you today to bring to your attention a FREE suicide intervention (safeTALK) workshop that we are facilitating in the Yorke Peninsula in the coming weeks. Given your positions within the community I thought this workshop my be of interest to you. Through the great funding of the Country Primary Health Networks, we have been working closely with the Yorke Peninsula council and have already trained several members of the local communities and are back again to offer another FREE workshop to better enable the community to stay safer from suicide. Attached is an information on the workshop which runs over 3 hours. There is also a flyer attached to advertise the workshop and the link to register online. Currently we have approx. 10-15 spaces left in this upcoming training, for which the details are below. If you or someone you know is interested in attending and gaining some life saving skills, please register. We would love to see you there.
