24.01.2022 Well....if you were wondering what’s happening with our factory, today we watched our giant size equipment get delivered. A sizeable upgrade for us, making us feel all sorts of excited and frightened! We also have a specific loading/unloading area which is new for us and that’s pretty cool too!

15.01.2022 Farewell long weekend, what a whirlwind 3 days. Anyone else feel as though that pretty much came and went even quicker than a normal weekend? We’re back to work in the kitchen like we never left. Arrived at the station midnight on Friday after a day cooking Chicken & Leek Parcels and back into Townsville 10pm Monday night to get stuck into Lasagnes on Tuesday morning. 12.01.2022 The muster is about to begin, a little later than anticipated but things out here don’t usually run to plan. Little bit sad that it won’t be this green or lush in North Queensland this round but that’s normal for this time of year. Unfortunately the kitchen gals won’t be getting out there until the final week at this stage, bit disappointing for Sara and I but at least we will get a few days in, better than nothing!

12.01.2022 Big boys at the front but boss man in the lead This mustering round is very quickly drawing to an end, by Sunday it will be done. I’ll be heading out west on Friday night after things are finished up in the kitchen to get on a bike behind the mob (and behind the camera ) for literally the very last day. Far less time at home then the whole week I had anticipated we’d get to spend but some is better then none.

10.01.2022 Hey everybody....been a bit busy doing life stuff for the last few days. Our brother Luke married Bree on the weekend and it was beautiful! We made it a long weekend away at Magnetic island with the family celebrating with a few beers (like a few too many). It wasn’t the big soirée they had originally spent months and months planning, instead it was pulled together in about 3 weeks and every bit as classy. However, everyone played a part in making sure their day went perfectl...y and it was nothing less than that! An absolute dream wedding These newly weds got back from the island on Monday and drove straight back out to the station and instead of honeymooning, they will be starting the muster immediately. Don’t worry, they did this knowingly, they just couldn’t wait any longer to say their I dos and love won out over choosing perfect timing. These two are living life like a country love song (just as Luke has always dreamed) and we couldn’t be happier for them, congratulations Luke & Bree! See more

04.01.2022 Its been a few aeons since I’ve given you all an update on the factory, to be completely honest I’ve had trouble getting there to get the photos. The orders continue to come in bigger and quicker and we just get busier and busier and seem to be perpetually racing to make deadlines, what a wonderful problem to have (thank you). We have a fancy new automatic gate up and the front of our building has been painted our signature colour (cheers Jake). This is a rather minor change compared to what else I have to show you, stay tuned!

We got busy, in work life and personal life and I got tired, it happens. I guess when you run most aspects the business, sometimes, something has just got to give. 01.01.2022 This right here friends is our freezer!!!!! Right now we are constantly carting product from our kitchen to a local storage facility and although they’ve been great to work with for the last 5 years, it adds a lot of extra work and time onto our day having to transfer everything back and forward every-time our two little kitchen freezers fill up! This is going to be a huge improvement to our work life and going to give us much more time for productivity with the ability to store over 21 full pallets of stock in house!
