19.01.2022 Good day for a dive Gary Alan and myself got out and bagged some crays. I had a good 3 kilo cray but he had a soft shell so I left him there.

16.01.2022 We had 2 boats with 7 divers out at pyramid rock Phillip island today. Perfect weather with 15 metre vis. Stunning Underwater country.

Guest speaker is from Marine Safety Victoria to give us a talk on water safety and also show us how to service inflatable life jackets. 8pm at the Swan hotel Richmond Instead of going to the vietnamese restaurant a few of us are having dinner at the pub. 06.01.2022 The SDFV have now got a Facebook page I have copied a link on a previous page. For those that are unaware of the SDFV it is a body that represents the amateur side of diving. They have been influential in topics that are of interest to divers in Victoria.

05.01.2022 Alan Balmer, Greg Sauter, and myself went out on my boat with Gary Pahof solo on his boat for what will probably be our last dive for awhile. The ramps are now closed. 4 crays were caught they were all good sizes. 1 metre swell with 8 mtr viz.

04.01.2022 Our next meeting is next Wednesday at the swan hotel in Richmond. Our guest speaker will be Liam Phillips from Heritage Victoria giving a talk about some of the ship wrecks on the point lonsdale side of the heads. It should be an interesting talk.

03.01.2022 I received 12 copies from John Lippmann at Australasian Diving Safety Foundation which has taken over from DAN. I will make them available for our boat owners, we should also have a couple spare for interested members.

02.01.2022 Our next club meeting is 8pm on the 9th of October at the Swan hotel in Richmond. We have a presentation from Heritage Victoria. They will be talking about the George Roper, Holyhead and the Mountain maid which are wrecks located near Point Lonsdale. They would like to invite our members to do some monitoring of the wrecks.
