13.01.2022 Black Sesame FAQ 1. Are there gluten-free choices on the menu? Black Sesame offers gluten-free dishes as well as gluten-free versions of certain dishes. Please let the serving wait staffs know of any dietary requirements to accommodate. 2. Do we put monosodium glutamate (MSG) in our food? ... No MSG is used by us 3. What are our opening times? The opening times can be found on Google search or in the 'About' section of this Facebook page. We are open lunch times, Friday to Sunday 12pm to 2.30pm and for dinner, Tuesday to Sunday 5pm to 9.30pm. 4. Is Black Sesame BYO? We are a fully licensed and BYO wine only restaurant. The corkage is $3.50 per person. 5. Do we have vegetarian options? We have some vegetarian choices in the menu. Please ask the serving wait staff for more vegetarian options as sometimes it just requires replacing the meat with mixed greens. 6. Do we do take-away delivery? We do take-away pickup only, no delivery. 7. What are your banquet options? Currently we have two main banquet options, the Celebration Sesame Banquet at $28 per person and the Signature Sesame Banquet at $35 per person. Details on these can be found on the Facebook page in one of the posts. You are always welcomed to create your own banquet using the current dishes and pass it onto us for functions, for example. 8. Do we do split-billing/order? We have decided not to do split billing anymore as a result of past incidents and complexity especially during busy periods for large groups. Please sort it out amongst yourselves in advance.

08.01.2022 Hi everybody, we would like to introduce us, Mr and Mrs Wu as the new owners of Black Sesame. The restaurant has just changed ownership 2 months ago. Please come in and say hi! Updates: We will be open during the Christmas and New Year period. We will only be closed for two days on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Currently the restaurant website is suspended. We hope to get it up and running soon.... We have a few new dishes to the existing menu. Future plans: New menus with all the original dishes and many new dishes. New wine list Special offers on certain days. Please check this page for offers and updates. Any suggestions for what to change and what not, from our customers are always welcomed. 07.01.2022 Dear Customers, We are open Good Friday (14/04/2017) and the Easter long weekend (15/04/2017 - 16/04/2017) per normal opening hours, except Easter Monday (17/04/2017).
