We welcome the swift action that has been taken to counter these problems by the WA heads of jurisdiction and the High Court. We must do all we can to ensure that all legal professionals feel comfortable raising concerns about harassment in the workpla...ce. This principle extends to students too. 19.01.2022 JD/PRE-LAW MENTORING PROGRAM An update for all those who have signed up to be a Mentor/Mentee: pairs have been finalised and emails containing a Mentoring Pack and the details of your Pre-Law Mentee will be sent to student emails over the course of the week. A commencement picnic will be held this Friday (the 11th) at Matilda Bay Foreshore. It aims to foster a collective and inclusive law school identity and facilitate professional development. A launch morning tea with mentors and mentees has been scheduled for Friday, Week 7. JD students will receive volunteering hours recognised on their academic transcript. ... The theme of this hackathon is a tech solution to a legal problem, pertinent to the COVID-19 crisis. Each Law School can field ONE team made up of FOUR members.
