09.01.2022 7 fold tie.... this beautiful garment takes its name from the construction process. Instead of the material wrapped around the internal canvas/cotton, a seven fold is folded several times into the shape of the tie. This technique requires much more material as well as considerably more time to make. The finished product has much better drape than the standard long tie, almost like having a small weight in the tie so it will hang (drape) more elegantly. 01.01.2022 We mentioned some big news a little while ago....... Black tie by Xavier is leaving Civic at the end of September. Due to Covid19 and other factors this will mean we will be closing our doors for a couple of weeks while we finish preparing the new location.
