22.01.2022 While we are facing challenging times, those challenges don't compare to those faced by the servicemen and women who defended our country so proudly during times of global conflict. It’s hugely disappointing that local Anzac Day services have been cancelled this year due to the ongoing pandemic, but I know that every Australian will be pausing to honour all our former and current servicemen and women this morning. It’s the Australian way. It’s the type of spirit that was born... by the original Anzacs. The pride, the endurance, the mateship and the willingness to stare down adversity to protect the common good.
