04.01.2022 For anyone participating in Super 7’s please be aware of the below. It has come to the attention of the NSWRL that a seven a side tackle competition has commenced in the Penrith area. Please be advised this is NOT a NSWRL sanctioned competition / event.... Clubs and participants involved in this competition should be aware: Personal Accident and Injury insurance provided via the NSW Community Rugby League’s Association policy is NOT extended to this event. Similarly, The CRLA’s Public Liability does NOT cover the event, nor does the games I-Care Permanent Disability cover apply. The League is unsure if the event organisers have submitted an approved COVID safety plan to the relevant authorities. Matches may be being live streamed across a digital platform contra to League policies. No proper Conduct or Judiciary processes are in play. The games NRL On Field policy may or may not be being adhered to, potentially exposing risk to participants. It may be worthwhile for your Clubs and registered participants to be aware of this information.
