15.01.2022 This morning our amazing preppies got to visit the year 1 rooms for transitions. They had a great time learning all about year 1. The year 1 teachers were so impressed with their beautiful behaviour and manners! Fabulous job preppies, you will shine in 2021!

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, have been declared student free days. 13.01.2022 BNSS is pleased to announce that our annual Christmas Concert is going ahead! Blackwater North State School students and their families are invited to join us to help celebrate the festive season with a night under the stars. The evening’s entertainment will feature a line-up of our very own students. Each class has been hard at work, preparing a special Christmas performance to share. Important Information ... Staying COVID safe is a priority. For contact tracing purposes all attendees will need to check in using the QR code (provided at a later date) before entering the venue. 10.01.2022 In 5A this term we have been learning about multimodal stories. As a part of this unit we have been creating stop motion animations. We were given iPads and allowed to create any stop motion we liked. It was fun learning how many photos we would have to take to create a short 10 second video. We hope you enjoy our videos. 02.01.2022 Final Tubs Sold We did it! We sold 1002 and made a profit of $3600. This money will go along way to improving school facilities. We are grateful for your support.
