25.01.2022 Blackwater travelled to Albury this weekend to play at the SS&A Club ... a great night in a great venue. Appreciative, attentive staff and a terrific room. Great FOH from Darren and massive well done to the band who were absolutely awesome after some intense rehearsal. Special mention to Frank for nailing it all beautifully, despite his injuries :) and Tasha and Karyn for taking some great pics. Watch this venue for Reminiscing - the LRB Experience!!

21.01.2022 We'd like to thank everyone for coming down to the Reminiscing/Doobie Brothers show last night at the Dorset Gardens Hotel. A full house saw the Reminiscing show make a brilliant debut - the band was awesome! Thanks also to Eddie at Wired4Sound for a great light show. We had great feedback and are looking forward to the next one!

19.01.2022 Well, we had a great gig at the Amstel Golf Club on Friday night with an enthusiastic crowd and lots of laughs (who is that mystery man - pic attached). Thanks for everyone for coming along - it was terrific to catch up with some old friends. The band is sounding fantastic and it’s an absolute credit to their abilities and determination to get it right. Thanks guys - you make it look easy! A million thanks to Darren for a great mix and Wired4Sound for the lights. It was, howe...ver, the end of an era with the last gig for one of our original members, Peter Goldsworthy. Pete has decided to move to greener pastures - or is it out to pasture?! :) - but we sincerely thank him for all the great times we’ve had along the way, for his vocal contribution and wish him nothing but the best for the future. Moving forward, we are pleased to have secured Simon 'Barney' Harrington as our new frontman and lead vocalist. Simon has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years and has fronted bands such as ‘Barney Does Bedrock', ‘Hollywood Zoo’ and solo gigs around town. You may also recognise his voice from several jingles on radio and T.V. See you all at the next one!!! See more

After a bit of a break we are back with some new members(as well as old),featuring some of the Doobie Brothers greatest hits, as well as a tribute t...o the great bands of the 70's and 80's with songs from The Eagles, Steve Miller, Journey and more. 06.01.2022 After a long hiatus, Blackwater enjoyed a great night at Live at London Eleven on Friday. A very special mention has to go to the incredible Alana Wilkinson who blew everyone away with her amazing vocals and entertaining stage presence. Thanks so much for getting the night started! Thanks must go to everyone in the band - Jenny Wilkinson, Peter Mansell, Peter Goldsworthy, Steve Lyons, Darren Calder, Michael Chu, Norbert Mancusi, Eric and Erica Klodinsky - for getting this together :) And thanks also to EVERYONE who came down to support us - we had a great time - its great music and its all about FUN!
